    The use of an 8” tom was fading away and im glad it’s coming back!! CCM doesn’t really use smaller toms and that is what is prevalent nowadays but I think its up to the drummers today to revive that sound back up! Drums sound good keep up the hard work brother…

      In my experience, it's hard to make 8"s and 10"s sound bad. Next step, bring back the 6"s! 🎉Very few things in percussion contribute excitement like a 6".

    It's a terrifying feeling when the track starts and it's not there. 😧

    I’m from Lumberton, and friends with the barnhill’s. I wanted to go to the conference but I was preaching that weekend.

    You should try an 8 10 and 12 inch rack toms. Great combination of sounds on a fill.

    At the church i go to we only have a 12 and 16, i go crazy on 10s when they invite me to play at other churches. I cant imagine how my mind would feel with an 8🤣🔥

    Hey Daniel, as always amazing content 🙌🏻🙌🏻
    Quick question… as far as GoPros goes… how do you do to make them last the whole services/shows?
    I’ve aleays have issues with their batteries last longer then half and hour w/o them being plugged to a power banks 🙃
    Thanks for your answer ✌🏻🙌🏻🔥

    • @DanielBernard

      I've got a hero 8 and 9, and the built in batteries usually last me about an hour and 20 minutes.
      I use a power plate that takes NPF batteries and has USB-C as well as other things - amzn.to/3CmBnqj

    Am I the only one that runs just 8” and 10” rack toms with 16” on the floor?

    • @DanielBernard
      @DanielBernard  ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting! So no 12? Never done that before.

    • @Dusther210
      @Dusther210 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DanielBernard nope! I was using a 5 tom setup for a few years at my church the switched to the minimum,using a 10 and 16. I then added the 8 back in about 2 years ago. I think the key might be in the tuning and adjusting your playin to the large jump from the 10 to the 16.
      But I’ve really fallen in love with the setup and it opened up some doors of creativity. I think it helps in expressing emotion from drums (for songs like What a Beautiful Name) while also being conducive to fast songs.
      I’d love to see a video of you giving it a try and your opinion of it!
