How do you feel after taking Wellbutrin?
Thanks for the video man! I’m on day 4 of taking Wellbutrin, super hopeful 😊
Hey Taylor! Awesome, so happy for you!! I hope it makes you get back to yourself and feel good!
Now almost one month on wellbutrin. There is slight improvement in depression, but it increases my anxiety!!
YES! I totally get that. The anxiety for me comes and goes. So maybe it won't be a constant for you. Things I've learned are to watch my caffeine intake and not being too much on social media, news etc (anything that gives me anxiety). I hope you're ROCKIN OUT in one year!! Let me know how it goes
Totally! I broke my jaw and it sent me into a seasonal depression. I Work an intense job and tried other scripts. This is was the only one that made me feel comfortable in my own skin. Honestly brought be back to the old me that loved life. Before I even understood depression and anxiety. The other scripts totally shifted my personality. To the point I could even get off a grocery store. That was not me. And I wasn’t going to accept that version of me. Listen to your body and believe what it’s telling you. Wellbutrin saved me too!
Wellbutrin brought me out of a major depression a year ago too! Such a miracle drug.
Thanks for your vids on Wellbutrin! Hope you're still doing well. I'm only a week in on SR, my doc put me on it in addition to my Lexapro. Lexapro was great for my anxiety but worsened my depression, and apparently the Lex/Wellbutrin combo works for a lot of people so here I am. It's worsened my anxiety some days which sucks but I'm gonna keep riding it out hoping that part gets better as I get used to it, because I'm really liking the extra energy and motivation I get from it. I think I'm gonna stick with SR and not try XL because the heart stuff scares me, and also kinda like that with SR it's easy to dose smaller increments / spread throughout the day.
Hey Brother!! So happy to hear from you! Great that you're takin care of yourself and seeing what helps you the most. It's totally a journey, I get it. I was on 4 others before Wellbutrin. Yeah SR is good. I had no issues with it. Hopefully this will provide you the stability to work on whatever is making you feel less than optimal. That's probably the best thing it gave me. More stability to work on underlying issues causing my sh*tty mood. Big hug 🐻❄
Thank you for your honest video. I wish you all the luck and peace on your journey.
I started a round of 150 XL a couple of years ago to help with S.A.D., which in truth, was moderate to severe depression. It helped me have one of the most positive winters I’d ever experienced. When spring rolled around, I felt depression coming back. I knew it was time to double up the dose, or walk away from it completely. I chose the latter. The next two years was going back to smoking weed, which then became a daily routine again and I was right back to where I was. Suicide was never more than a few steps away from common thought. No attempts were ever made, but I was plagued by so many thoughts of it, I’d watched my own funeral in my mind several times.
I’ve started back on the 150 XL a week ago, quit weed cold turkey and already, I can feel a difference. I’m still cranky AF due to the withdrawal from weed, but that will pass in time and the future does look a little brighter.
Here’s to the beautiful struggle of life we all wrestle with. I do wonder though, in the end, will we think this was all worth it?
OMG that's such an insightful post! We need you around just for being a good orator alone! Yeah man depression is crazy. For me at least it's amplified by a disconnection from other people so hopefully these little youtube videos provide some sense of comfort and community. Hugs!!
I appreciate that, man! It’s funny, when I’m not in the darkness, the thought patterns that plague us seem distant and frankly, absurd. Almost like it was someone else thinking them. But alas, it’s the light and dark that make all of us. Just some of us have a much longer spread with the spectrum of highs to lows. The lows indeed suck, but their counterparts can be pretty fkn awesome sometimes. 😏
Keep your light shining! Consider me subbed. Big up from Toronto.
Wow. First time seeing you. You echo many of my thoughts, and you show some good wisdom, hard-won, I'm sure.
My depression isn't typical. It isn't really like sadness, but I do have major depression and my doctor recommended bupropion (Welbutrin) when fluoxetine (Prozac) didn't help me at all. It changed my life! I tried going off it for two weeks (different story) but I only lasted five days. That was the clincher - I don't ever want to be without this drug. I also take duloxetine (Cymbalta) as a complement to the bupropion. Also a very good medicine.
Which leads me to my real point: gratitude. I have thought often what you expressed, that I'm so lucky to live in a time when when there are good treatments for all 🥴 of my chronic conditions. You're right. In 1950, not only were there no good drugs to treat depression, but any mental "problems" were considered shameful, weak, and hush-hush. And women's medical needs were even more marginalized than they are today.
Sorry for the long post. Wishing you more good health and success!
Hi Susie! Just seeing this. Thank you for your words. I feel you!! Yes, we're very lucky to live in the present moment 🙏 How are you now? I hope all is well 🧡
Oh my goodness you are awesome... you made me laugh with the heart .. BOOM 😂

I was on wellbutrin 3 years ago for about a 1/2 month and i stopped because of insomnia was horrible. I was wondering when you started seeing improvement and what were the signs? I just started it again and im on day 10, so far no insomnia, Im on 300 milligrams.
Really nice video! Your dog is amazing and funny. ❤
Aw thank you Nathy! I hope you've had a good day ❤
This is my thirst day on 100MG SR. I haven’t noticed anything so far. Thinking about bumping it to 200mg. I’m glad to see how positively it has affected you!
WOOHOO congrats on your first steps to wellness!! Let me know how it goes in a few months ☺

🎉
Any issues with short term memories with taking Wellbutrin?
YES haha. For a bit, but it has gone away at this point.
still snapping at the dog... I'll keep looking
So sad i can't access this medication, I hate my country, currently fighting apathy/depression
Ah babe why!? That’s unfortunate!! Is there anything in your country you can take? I am positive there is something available to you that could help, even if not Wellbutrin.
I totally understand apathy, I have been there. I’d say to start, try writing one small thing you care about every morning. Just to start. And remember I told you to do so ;) I’m rooting for you to be happy!!
@@sunflowerkidvlogs Unfortunately, any stimulant is prohibited in my country.

Of course!!! So glad to help!!!!!
Omg I take 300mg xl and I thought i was crazy when I noticed that I couldn’t pronounce certain words. I never had a speech impediment but I’ve noticed the increased upon change in dose from 150 to 300. Also occasional constipation increased with 300mg.
right!? aren't those weird effects. like you wouldn't think they'd be effects from psychiatric medication. you're not alone though!
I couldn’t take it, made my stomach swell and I felt terrible!
omg tammy that's not good!! i'm glad you figured that out quickly and got off of it. I hope you find something else that works better for you!!
How’s your sleep going
Great! The intense dreams only lasted for a bit in the beginning and went away. Haven't had a problem since. I hope you're well!
@@sunflowerkidvlogs I started taking the medicine yesterday but I did not sleep due to insomnia. Do you think it is temporary?
Hey@@Yasen1791! I'd give it time. The insomnia and vivid dreams I had went away after the first 2 months or so. I settled into the medication nicely after then.
How is your sexdrive? And the "Dumb D***" you said in an older video, has it improved?! I'm asking because I started taking this medication now and I'm worried about it!
Hey Gustavo!! I'm all good in that department
How you doing now man?!?
Hi Matt! I am doing very well :) On a very low dose and feeling good. Hope you and yours are well! 💛
