What do you mean? Do you mean the diabellze player has the MST or the opponent. If its the diabellze player it is one of her effects, if its the opponents then MST doesn’t do anything
@@deathvai364 it's because for the opponent to play Spells with Diabellze they'd need to set it first and that gives you a window to MST that set spell, thus depriving your opponent of the chance to activate that card. Long story short, because they need to set all spell, you can use MST to not allow them to activate them, so MST negates.
@@TheOnlyBootlegger It's a non-targetting 2 for 1 that has to stick around until the battle phase (not that good), you have to have a Illusion monster in your hand or graveyard (Illusion is not the best) and it's second set of effects triggers off a face-up illusion monster being destroyed which again illusion monsters are not the best.

You could also just use this card to banish the 3 from extra, but I don’t know why you would do that.
I think this card is a really interesting "answer" to generic boss mons on the field, though I don't know if it's a good one. Like Mekk-Knights or Anima or Transverser, I could see this card seeing enough play to alter some people's strategies for maximal counterplay or maximal set-up possibility, through controlling or limiting the number of cards on field and in hand. You can pretty much always rely on a Level 10 Synchro like Baronne or BSD or Dis Pater (less so that one, LOL) to show up, so I'm expecting that some people will hard-focus on pivoting strategy towards perma-enabling this card if there is a Level 10 on field. That's actually overblowing it a tonne. No one's gonna play this card, but a girl can dream.
From what I've been led to understand, Diabellze exists as a Sinful Spoils mirror match sideboard card. Its summoning condition doesn't specify *your* GY, it can be either GY. So it shuts off Imperm going second.
1:55 this can be said about duel links too, there was a point where skills were just a help to the deck, now decks play around the skill, almost every box, if not every box, has new skills for the cards in it, because without skills, the cards are way weaker or unplayable without them. At some point, i would say back when aigami was released, was when this started happening.
Honestly I think they didn't even realize it just sorta kills Pend. Like Konami doesn't sound to me to care much about the Pendulum mechanic that much nowadays, so they probably didn't even realize they just made a card that just turns the entire mechanic off casually.
How safe they're playing with new Illusions is so frustrating, because Talons of Shurilane would've been such a cool card for Fiend decks if they hadn't made it Special itself exclusively on the opponent's turn, and Golgoil would've been decent enough if its banish-to-summon condition didn't need it to be on the field when it was banished (because I guess a L10 battle-immune body is just too good to get off Gold Sarc).
They are afraid of it being broken when even if they made it quick effect and Gol having its attack double as well as pierce upon summon it still woulndt be broken.
It's really beyond embarassing because they would have been interesting cards otherwise. I waited for Talons of Shurilane to be printed for years and it's depressingly bad
Only if there is no indicator on activation that it would resolve 'correctly'. In the spirit of the cards design it shouldn't light up only when it actually banishes the opponents stuff, but always.
@@GenesisAkaG the returning from banished is optional, so you can still fire the card and banish the ED monsters even if you cant satisfy the second condition (aka it would probably already work the way you said, although you would still need to be able to successfully perform the first effect)
Diabelze is specifically good in labrynth since they can search out the trap to summon her. And they can even by pass the traps restriction by using butler or coco to use it during the own turn to search her and then summon her with her own effect which makes her pop eff live.

so the one interesting thing about equation cannon is that it doesn't care which xyz and fusion you return as long as they where already banished before the card is activated. so maybe if you can consistently banish some is the math far more forgiving. the only deck i could think of that does that would be dogmatika.
Nah, they should have always been in the left and right s/t zones. Just remove pendulums from being forced to be attached to links and if you're scared about them limit them to pendulum summoning a maximum of three monsters to the middle three monster zones that are between the scales.
Rank = # cards on the field & hand - # level/rank of opponents monster Fusion Level = 2*# level/rank of opponents monster - # cards on the field & hand
the lowest level you can hit is half the total number of cards rounded down plus 1. To hit level 4, there must be 7 or fewer cards between both of you, which seems unlikely. Hitting level 7 or 8 seems easier, with the side deck for other values. Hitting exactly level 7 with 11-13 cards, requires a level 1,2, 3 fusion, and 2 rank 4, 5 and 6 xyz's (and incidentally hit some other values, like 13-14 card level 8), which is probably how this card would mostly look like, a going first sidedeck when the opponent relies on high level monsters.
Equation cannon actually kinda simple in lab. 2 rank 4 plus 1 lvl 4 fusion, likely being n'tss. That equation cannon isn't really that hard to pull off. I mean how many decks like to summon a level 4 at some point of their combo for example? There's plenty of rank 1s and the fusion tuner monster is a level 2

You need to know your opponent has cards you can trigger it on, with an extra deck that has enough variety in it that you can plan for it, and even then it's kinda bad as an interrupt outside of style. If you're not board wiping, what's the point over playing a solemn? The first half of the equation is fine. It's more than manageable. It's the second half that makes it so awkward to use, as joseph kinda realised in real time. I'm tempted to jam it in my floo deck for locals, just to hit it off once.
