The masks were part of a cultural drama based on one of the greatest epics-Ramayana.The story of Lord Ram.everywhere in Asia where you find such plays they are based on the Ramayana..Such was the pervasiveness of Indian culture

7 sister states of india is full of greenery. They all are most beautiful state of india. Assam has kaziranga national park which is famous for one horned rhino. Assam is the state that is flooded right now.
India has the best handmade goods in the world. From clothes to baskets, you name it. It's cheap too but high quality products. Every state is so unique, you will be amazed.

Assam was my Birthplace, I was born in Guwahati (metropolitan of Assam)on 1996, believe me, it's nothing you have seen and there will be nothing to see after a few years, with the increasing economic this place is changing itself. Once there was nothing taller than the mountains we have but now large skyscrapers have replaced it, 40% of the natural and land and forest are gone. I still remember competing with my squad to reach the top of the hill and vice-versa, As I grew older I and my squad used to sit on the peak of the hills at 4:00pm smoking weed and discussing life, even the place where I had my first kiss has been turned into a Restricted place. As time passed me and my friend moved to different parts of the world, it's been ages I last visited my home. Today when I saw this video It just freshened up some of my memories. Thanks a lot for keeping up the good work, and if someday you wanna visit Assam then plan for it as soon as possible or else you see a totally different state which won't look like this anymore.

One horned rhino is the pride of Assam because it can be found only in Assam . we have Majuli,the world's largest river island and Umanondo,world's smallest river island. Sualkuchi is well known for silktextiles both mulberry and muga silk. In fact muga, "the golden fibre"is produced only inAssam. Such activities are intimately linked with the culture and tradition of theAssamese people since long past. so the handloom is shown.The mekhela chador worn by priyanka is made of Muga silk.The first dance shown is Bihu dance . Rest all are traditional dances from different assamese community. Bihu brings everyone together. The royal palaces are in Sivsagar(Hibo-hagor) made of duck eggs and sticky rIce.The mask making part is a huge cultural and religious part used in bhaona( mythological drama).Assam also produces tea which is world famous.Do visit Assam its vast in culture beautiful in nature great by people's hospitality

Thnks to reacting to the video. Im from Assam. But the sad thing is, Assam is drawn in heavy flood now. In some places water lvl is 2-4 meter... Many district and villages are infected by the flood. The wild life is also in danger and human life also.
