Hello guys! Thank You very much for watching this video. Please give me suggestions about my future videos... :-) ==> You can also "Like" us on facebook ==> facebook.com/AllLabExperiments
I have my practical exam the day after tomorrow. Really this video has helped me a lot ❣️❣️.. Thank you so much sir ...
Easy & understandable explanation... 👌
One of our college's professor has alloted this practical. Firstly, I study from practical guide-book, and then watch TH-cam videos from different channel. Each one channel's explanation wasn't easy to understand.
Your video clears all of my doubts...
Today, I've successfully determined the refractive index of prism...
Thank you so much Sir. 🙏🏻
This was my main motto behind making this channel... I feel happy when students get science rather than doing experiments like a labour
thank you so much. its explained in such a way that an average student like me understood really well.
Thanks
The best explanation on TH-cam about this experiment 👌🏼
thank you sir for sharing this useful content .........
Sir, I had a doubt. For the angle of prism one, what parameter are we changing for multiple readings, if nothing, then how will we get different readings than the first one?
Just change the scale. You will find a screw on the spectrometer. If you unlock that you wilp be able to rotate the scale and the readings in V1 and V2 will change.
@@AllLabExperiments ok, thank you sir
BOUN liked this :)
sir isme jo hum sodium lamp use karte hai uski wavelegth to 5890-5896 A* tak hoti hai, it means it is not a white-light, then why prism break it into the visible spectrum?
because as I know sirf white light ko hi seven color me break kiya ja skta hai?
@@No_doubt_nobita prism hr light ko.uski wavelength ke acc bend krta h. White light me sab colour mix hote h kam ya jyada me to sab bend hokr chale jate h apni apni jagah. And agr only two wavelengths ke sath ye exp kiya jaye like this to wo bhi apni wavelength ke acc bend ho rahi h. Slightly different wavelength show slightly dofferent bending
@@AllLabExperiments it means yellow light is also a combination of seven colors? if not, then prism ko unhe alag-alag nhi karna chahiye tha?
@@No_doubt_nobita sodium only emit two colours 5890 and 5896 A. Both are very cloase and deviate at slightly different angle. They are not made of all freq.
@@AllLabExperiments Okay sir I'll try it again in the lab and then ask you if I have a doubt.
@@No_doubt_nobita if you face any problem.during experiment. Make sure if the spectrometer is set properly or not. A tutorial video is available for that as well. Then this exp is very very easy
Best video explanation ever
Thank you
Expecting more such videos!!!
Nicely explained sir. 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you.
Height of building using sextant wala bhi video upload kr dijiye
M planning to make this n upload by next month.
Dr sachin wonderful experiment
Thanks u so much sir for making this video I too much need it's mind blowing sir again thanks and please make video for Newton's ring's also
newton ring video is in making. will post it with in a week. have a good day
Okay sir thanks
Nice explanation....
It really helped me ....
Thank you.....
This is very helpful for me because today is my exam 😊
Sir please make a video on the experiment to determine the refractive indices of ordinary and extraordinary Rays For the calcite Using spectrometer with it's standard value.. please sir.🙏
ok i will try although i am extremely buzy now a days
Bahut bdia sir
FIRST good channel for practical
great explanation
Great work Dr. Sachin
Thanks bro
Sir actually i have a doubt. We perform the same experiment and see two slits on left and right side .sir will you plz explain why
May be that is spdium doublet or that one was grating experiment not prism. Or you observed some other light reflected from somewhere.
Most useful video and best video
Very nice explanation..good job
Thankyou ji
❤
Lots of hardworking behind this❣️❣️
Thank you so much for the explaination💖
Thank you so much , may God bless you ❤ you are putting such an amazing work here on youtube , it has saved my life as a student !
Thanks for your words...
@@AllLabExperiments thank you for your spot on explanation , idk how I would have conducted my lab report without your help !
@@yaminaboub-jo2lb all the best for your future. Keep the torch of knowledge high...
This making of calculation video
Wow❤ explanation is very clear
Wonderful
❤
In this experiment..we are doing it with or without light ya?
With light. See that yellow line.
Brilliant Explanation sir..
How is that 2A Calculated Sir ? is it the addition of the two values after subtracting?
It is double of the angle of prism so it is called as 2A. It will come out to be very close to 120. Now just half it and you will get angle of prism.
@@AllLabExperiments I mean sir , you said we minus the smallest value from the highest value and get 3A ....which small and highest value actually? Because we have two values at position 1 right and 2 values at position 2 ?...So how do we get 2A from these 4 values...that is my confusion🥺
@@ncedonqeto9107 observe only one vernier scale in position 1 and 2 and take its difference. Keep the reading of each spectrometer scale separate. And after calculations take mean of both answers.
Thank you sir.
You help me lot !!😊😊👍
Thank uuu
Good job.
Sir you explain awesome 😎👍 I'm ur new subscriber ❤😊
Thanks dear...
@@AllLabExperiments most welcome 😊
Thank you so much. You made it so easy!!!
With a humble request sir plz make vdio of viva que for this experiment
Check vova of optics experiments part 1 and 2. Those viddeos cover this. One dedicated video on prism related exp viva is also available
Thanku so much sir ur videos really helps up
Sir aapne resolving power of telescope ke viva que b upload kiye hue h kya or to baki sbhi aapki videos se ho gya only yhi rhta h
Sir Can You Share Link To Perform Experiments in Virtual Lab??
Amrita university and iitB and some other platforms provide such facilities... Rest you can search and perform....
Sir your videos are easy to understand. Pls make video about impedance and power factor using RL series circuit
Electronics or say EnM experiments are in my to do list. Soon will make videos on this experiment as well.
It really helped! Thanks for this video! Keep it up..
Can we observe the spectra lines of diamond, plz show how to identify gems with this instrument
Yup you can. But your need to shape diamond or glass in a certain way for comparison. Otherwise solve eqn all to its shape....
The refractive index of glass or diamond is different this will change the deviation angle of light
Nice explanation, thank you
Thanks a lot sir 🙏 it's amazing
Thank you! From Sri Lanka🎉
The best explanation thanks ❤️
Great and simple explanation
Thankyou so much sir 😭
Thank you sir .👍🏻
Can we use mercury source instead of sodium
Yes. But in that case you can calculate the refractive index of prism for dofferent wavelengths and it varies with wavelength. Just find it for all of them. Don,t take mean at the end.
Really great teaching sir
clearly explained 😊
What is sodium lamp how it produce light
Watch my video on optics viva voce. You will its answer and many relevant questions. th-cam.com/video/YrvTVwdy_uE/w-d-xo.html
nice and compact explanation
