I absolutely agree with you on the extraordinary quality of Halcyon bar end mirrors. My motorcycle only just fits through the side passage gates at the side of my house and my Halcyons are no stranger to being clonked, carrying their scratches with pride. The glass has never been damaged despite this regular pummeling and the black powder coating has not flaked or broken. The stocks are incredibly solid and vibration free and the position of bar ends gives a panoramic rear view - I cannot sing their praises too highly.
Thanks Uncle Stu! I just fitted the halcyons to my brand new 2022 Int650 mark ii (first one in Minnesota!) and they are GORGEOUS! Thanks so much for all you do and demystifying motorcycle care and ownership!
Good morning Stuart, always a pleasure to watch your videos. Currently still working abroad but looking forward to getting home and getting out on my Rnine T Racer.
I've watched a number of your videos on the Interceptor and yours along with a few others and some magazine test reports convinced me to buy one. Thanks for the well done reviews.
Thats a blast from the past, I bought one of the 'square' versions to fit my Ariel Arrow back in 64. I seem to remember they were made of alloy not stainless steel though., Also owned a pair of Stadium googles, a skid lid type helmet and white scarf..part of the uniform...Greetings from España
Good morning Stuart, you’re videos are draining my valet. Cheers for the end entertaining video, it’s always a pleasure watching. Carry on the good work... cold regards from Berlin
Thanks Stuart, this is gold, I ordered the 820 style from Hitchcock's last week, also ordering the grip wrap from Trip Machine and the polished micro blade from motone this week....thanks for how it's all going to look in one shot! Really changes the look of the bike, looks awesome. I'm thinking of removing the handlebar brace for a bit more of a classic look. Again another great video.
Stuart - they look just great don't they? So much better than the standard ones and I would imagine they also give a much improved field of vision. Thanks so much for bringing these to our attention. Just hope Hitchcock's haven't sold out already! Love your channel - great vids - keep up the good work. Got my Interceptor fifteen months ago and love it to bits - brings a smile to my face every time I ride it and a great stablemate to my Nissan 370Z Nismo - another great bit of kit too!
Thanks Stuart for the mirror review. Good stuff. On the subject of subscribers, it constantly mystifies me that there are so many "bubblegum" sites of little or no substance yet have very high subscriber numbers , while channels such as yours always provide valuable ,honest content and struggle to grow. I would expect your site to have 3 or 4 times the current subscribers. Keep up the good work. Cheers, 🏍👍🇨🇦
Stu, thanks for highlighting these. I have a set of mirrors from another English supplier for my RE 650 and had to cut, file, and fit the stepped metal part by hand. That would have been OK but the mirror glass has a blue tint that I have not seen before. At first I thought it was a protective plastic film and tried picking it off only to realize that was not the case after I had put a very small chip in the mirror glass. They work alright but I see no advantage to the blue finish. I will go on over to Hitchcocks and give these a look over.
As a new Interceptor owner I am playing catch up on all your videos - I have learned so much including these gorgeous mirrors. I was uninspired by the typical aftermarket mirrors - they just don't suit the bike to your point. As of today (3/22) Hitchcock does not have them in stock BUT Halcyon does and they also have the interceptor fitting kit. Ordered and can't wait! Now I have to tell you - I watch your videos in the middle of the night. To not disturb my spouse I turn off the sound and turn on closed captioning - CC adds another level of entertainment as there is no 'Yorkshire' option so a bike is a 'back' and a side case is a 'sad case and so on. Really appreciate and enjoy your videos. Looking forward to the next installment!
I fitted bar end mirrors to the bike last year, just after taking it off the road for the winter so I've not had a chance to test them. Hopefully I like them. Those mirrors are perfect for the Interceptor, wish I'd spotted those. I got around the problem by carefully removing the half moon step. I bought a UK made set of bar ends that come with a longer bolt that screw's into the threaded hole. They're really solid but as yet untested. Take care Stuart.
Hello Stuart. New subscriber and owner of a 2022 Int650. I enjoy your videos and use the information you provide for maintenance as well accessories. These Bar End Mirrors will be a wonderful addition to the bike-I’m tired of looking at my shoulders.
Finally bar end mirrors on the 650! Love it! Looks great! I have the same mirrors on my RE 500 classic and it looks great. Bought it from Hitchcock as well. Keep up the good work! Greetings from Norway!

Continental GT Tank 6.Couple of others as well The dealer highly recommend Norman Hyde ‘M’ Bar - any feedback on the suggestion as i’m 186 cms - thank you!
Great video Stuart.. There is one major disadvantage with these folding mirrors which hopefully you and your watchers won't experience. In 1971 I managed to hit a car dynamo in the road in the dark on my BSA A7SS fitted with an offside mirror as described and my Fiancee on the pillion. We came off! The bike hit the road on the offside wrapping the mirror round my right hand and breaking my R/H pinky which to this day ain't straight. Love my Interceptor 650 and will stick with stock mirrors if only for the fact they cost c£25 from India. (Yes I have had to replace one)! Keep safe.
Reminded me of looking through some boxes a while ago and I pulled out a pair of my original Stadium bar end mirrors which I bought when I was hooning around on my 400/4 with my girlfriend on the back. Subscribed almost a year ago and enjoy looking forward to your videos.
An interesting introduction and a bit of a history lesson, not looking for mirrors myself however enjoyed watching your video all the same. Thank you for sharing.
Ordered a pair for my 2021 SV 650. Can't wait to see how they make the bike look. I'm aiming for that "70's cafe and 90's sport bike look", and I kept the original bulb blinkers, the crom ring of the headlight will pair nicely with the mirrors, and I also have a yellow bulb inside it. But the main reason I ordered them was that I wanted them the moment I saw them, and tried to find justifications on how they would fit on my 2021 SV 😁
Installed a set on my Interceptor today. They are exactly as you described and I agree that the quality is as good as it gets. Thank you again, for such good content.
Stadium had a helmet factory in my town, Caerphilly, back in the good old days. My mate worked there in the late 1970's and my first three or four helmets were Stadium. I still have one in the attic! Sadly, like much of British manufacturing industry, the site where the helmets were made is now a housing estate.
Now there was a bike! I had a yellow one in the early 80s! I went on holiday to Cornwall on a CB250RSA and came back on a 400/4. Great bike. I really wish I'd kept it.
