So gumbo is one of those recipes where I won’t lie and say it's easy. It’s flipping delicious, it’s hearty and this recipe will make a boatload of the stuff, however, it does take a while. Why I decided to make this directly after a big bike trip across the city, I’ll never know. I will say however with the knowledge of future Logan, that this turned out super delish.

as an avid fan of walkable/bikable places this video is a treat
Did not expect the flavor lab guy to be adorable, but I'm here for it. I loved visiting DC as a kid; it's so beautiful, I struggle in that weather though, haha. In either case, I hope everyone is safe and warm wherever they are.
Aww thank you
@@FlavorLab You are welcome! Thank you for the peek into your world. Take care of yourself. 🥰
This was such a relaxing treat to watch. Got me tempted to cycle round some markets in London tomorrow, weather permitting!
Thank you, this means so much to me to hear
It's nice to see DC adding more bike lanes and bike/pedestrian friendly areas. I live in Alexandria and it's slowly working towards that way too
Aww that's great, I love Alexandria
That was really relaxing to watch. I love that you kept some of the ambient audio and conversations :)
I love these new types of videos!!! ❤️
Awesome video my man.
Also, I appreciate the 90s vibe you somehow give off. Keep it up!
Aww thank you!
Great video, enjoyed seeing the DC area. You seem like a genuinely nice person and it is so refreshing. Thank you!
You are too kind
Nice video! really makes me miss the city. Such a nice variety of foods available.
My smaller city is slowly becoming more bikeable but it's a long transformation. Here's hoping it keeps expanding everywhere
I love hearing this
As a Cajun living in South Louisiana, it was cool seeing a seafood gumbo slowly start coming together!
Love your channel, bud!
Interesting to see the US from this perspective. I always had the conception driving around on a bike would be borderline suicidal over there.
it is a little bit
This is so cute, It felt like I was there with you
Let's pretend
welcome to dc :) that's a loooot of biking for one day my man
DC actually looks pretty cool. I like the east coast cities, I was biking around Boston early in June and had a good time. I will have to bike around DC sometime.
I gotta to to America some day
I think this is the first time I saw you in a vid. It's mostly just hands hehe.
Try to replicate a Pringle chip but bigger so you can se it as a taco shell
Did you say *monuments* ?
FINALLY a Flavor Lab / ALEXKANSAS collaboration!
What is this...?
You should bike around Marvel, it's much better! 😋
r u a physicist? u look like a smart physicist
I am a physicist, I study optics and atoms
ayy, I absolutely LOVE DC, it's my favorite city. It feels so open and inviting compared to other cities. I just wish that the traffic here wasn't so bad. Driving in from MoCo sucks!
For some reason I thought you lived in Germany.
I lived in Germany for six years before moving back to the US. Sometimes I still speak like I am living there
wine?!
Wine!
Can you make real Root beer
I made a video about root beer a few years ago, but I weighed a bit more back then
Concerning title... Stay calm. If you're being held captive in the Flavour Lab, don't heart this comment.
*blinks intensely*
it was 70 yesterday and 48 today, so depending on when you filmed, you may have chosen the perfect time
It was around November 1 when I filmed this
