By the way, is it allowed in part 2 of Speaking to take your 30 seconds describing and explaining your reasons using the photo your partner didn’t mention at all?

Yes, you absolutely can! As long as you're answering the question they ask you, it doesn't matter if it's related to your partner's photos, sometimes it's not even about the photos specifically, but the topic.
