Hi, it really depends where you are now and what your strengths/weaknesses are. You can prepare for reading, listening and use of English yourself if you know what to do, but for writing/speaking you need some kind of feedback. We do offer online classes which you can do from home (www.oxfordonlineenglish.com/book-classes). My advice would be to take a practice exam (there are sample tests here www.cambridgeenglish.org/exams/advanced/preparation/) and check your scores so that you know where you are now. This will give you a better idea of what you need to do.

Should not you say which pictures you are going to talk about(it is usually 3 to choose from and compare) you also say this picture and the other picture how on earth the examiner is supposed to know which one you are talking about?
Hi! A friend of mine(who is really anxious right now) has just taken the CAE exam and in Part 4, there was an idiom "in favour of" she had to use. Do you believe that if she wrote "in the favour of" she'll receive 1 point only ? or "in the favour of" si accepted too? Thank you!!
Hi Georgiana. It depends on the question and the context. Usually, the correct phrase is something like: 'I'm in favour of this decision,' without 'the'. I can't say how many points she would lose, but 'In favour of' is the correct usage.
If it's part of your natural speech, and it's not overused, yes you can use those. If used correctly, these types of phrases can show a good level of fluency.
