Lengthening the bottom bar on the 4 link will add preload (weight) to that side. If you are turning left off the line, preload the left side. I haven’t tuned a chassis in 20 years, but the way we would tackle a chassis tune was bar centerline (you want the 4 link bars to theoretically cross at the 60/40 weight distribution point, at the cam centerline). Then you scale for preload (again 60/40 front to back), with the rear driver’s side to scale 50 to 100 lbs heavier than the right. Set the compression and rebound at 50/50 each and let her eat. Tune major items first (rear steer, weight distribution), and try for a 4 to 6 inch front end lift. Next, adjust rear compression for 3 inches overall squat for the 60 foot. The rebound should then be adjusted to eliminate bounce as the car tries to unload the tires. All that said, I personally wanted the front to pick up immediately and get the tires out of the lights as fast as possible. That helps a great deal with RT. When the tune is right for the car, the only race day changes should be tire pressure, and possibly some rebound adjustments. Back when I was tuning we didn’t have an effective way to make on track timing and fuel adjustments. Instead we used two stage clutches and added or subtracted weights from the clutch plates to manage the clutch slippage at specific rpm.
@@StayTunedTAthere are preload tuneable ladder bars available. Chris Alston sells a kit with a preload adjustable top bar. You described adding load through the anti-sway bar which is also a good method for ladder bars. Seemed to work for you as the track worked in later in the day.

@@y2000airyour right, my bad. I don’t follow the LS stuff that much and thought the LSx was a big block. I didn’t realize it was basically a stroker small block. My fault.
Definitely looking forward to more Blasphemi videos on both channels. Kinda surprised by the amount of camber gain and bump steer in the new front suspension. Also, it takes some huge coconuts to hop in to someone else's 1300hp drag car and put the hammer down. Nowhere near as easy as it seems!
You're too young to remember "real Corinthian leather," and actually it was "rich Corinthian leather."
Nothing better than working on hotrods with friends! Also nothing broke is a plus!
Someone could run an entire race program on the money Finnegan has wasted with no attention to detail destroying parts. Super annoying.
You sound jealous
Poor Pete.
You realize it's a drag car ?? It's gonna happen breaking everything. Nobody can prepare for stuff that happens you can only keep so much for parts on hand .
So he could pay attention to details for 3-4 years "getting it ready", or he could spend what he wants, when he wants, and he can push it as hard as he wants.
Put your car against his. Mouthy punk. People like you súçk, you find negativity in everything
Don't race programs piss through parts?
This one put a big smile on my face. So cool to see the car get dialed in but even cooler to see Tony get to make a few runs in the car.
It’s pretty dope you letting Tony make a rip. That’s what real friends do. A buddy of mine and I swapped keys for a car show one day and it’s a day I’ll never forget. We made rips in each others cars videoing each other. Bortherrrrrssss
I enjoyed watching this episode so much! Tony, Mike, Blasphemi, just having fun; AND the. Tony getting to drive it! Pure awesomeness 🤟
What a mate Finn is. There’s no way I’d let anyone drive that if it were mine. I was cheering so hard when Tony finally got his pass in.
Testing before drag week... unheard of for this crew😂
Blasphemi is finally getting ironed out. What awesomeness seeing it getting some nice runs.
It is so weird seeing you two prepping the car in advance. Love to see it, and hope y’all KILL on drag week!
There's some brotherly trust letting a mate drive cause Tony's not known for blowing stuff up !!! Awesome.
Yalls videographer is kickin butt! 4-8 and "Do they serve steak in a swimming pool?" You and Finn killing it with the one liners!
Epitome of friendship, right there!
Great Episode. Blasphemi is the coolest of all of the M/T/Roadkill/Freiberger&Finnegan Universe.
This is what Darth Vader would race.
Also love the Dave Portnoy reference with the Pizza.
Two of my favorite gear heads back together again! Watching it again!
Thank you all for making these videos!
WOW!! what a ride, made a old timer smile, much hard work and a beauty of a race car...a Keith Black motor the best in the biz..thank you !!
