Im a few minutes in. Just wanted to say I usually dont have the attention span for this kind of content but when last weeks video dropped I found myself watching it in its entirety and will probably do the same with this one. Youre a hell of an orator, your delivery is on point and your genuine passion for the hobby is infectious. Cant wait to see what else you have in store for us dude
@@TheDavidFreiburger Hey Mr Freiburger I heard a vicious rumour that you sold the Disgustang. I said, no chance, David loves that car almost as much as General Mayhem. So, say it ain’t so David!
I am merely leaving this comment on this video because it is in my head currently...this was a cool video but not the best by any stretch...but can we all seriously appreciate we are watching an absolute legend in the motorsports community with Freiburger? If there is ever to be a Mt Rushmore for us car guys he has got to be on it without a doubt...thank you David!
Pretty cool video. For years no one has really gotten to see the blood sweat and tears that go into the production. Thank you for being the most influential hot rodder of my generation david!
David, I would like to personally thank for you everything you do. I was almost lucky enough to work with you years ago and turned it down due to family issues. You truly embody the heart and soul of us "car people" please keep doing EXACTLY what you do. We will join you in your travels and relish in your adventures!
Dave, you are doing a great job with your channel! The stuff you do is exactly what I think of as a true hotrodder born around our time. Keep carrying the torch!
Thank you David, love the content and all you do for us! I would love to work for you and get into the industry. It is a dream job. Doing anything you have a deep love and passion for is a major win in life. If it pays the bills even better. It’s really amazing thinking about all you have got to see and do! You have given us so much content over the years. I discovered roadkill episode 1 and I’ve been watching ever since. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Im from Germany and I follow Drag week since 2012 I believe. Have not missed the coverage once in all those years! I hope some day I can come spectate and photograph. Your commentary on the live feed is sooo good. Seriously, so much knowledge!
Thank you so much for all your work on these! I enjoyed the live feed immensely and I’m sorry you all had so much trouble this year. Can’t wait for next year!
This has to be the golden age for not just hot rodding but for the creative and restorative process in general regardless of your hobby. Never before have so many had access to whatever information they need to accomplish their passion and the relatively affordable tech (from harbor freight tools to CNC machines and 3d printers). It's pretty cool to see.
Hot rod drag week is my favorite week of the year. Listening to the live stream at work makes work a breeze. Hopefully one day I can get my ford powered Fox out there!! Thanks for all you do Freiburger!!
I was able to watch the live feed a few days this year, and you folks really threaded the needle between casual enough to be enjoyable and professional enough to have great production value. Great job and thank you.
Great behind the scenes of how Drag week is organized. I really enjoyed the explanation of the prep work that you announcers have to do to make a great production every day . Hopefully everyone appreciates y'all 's grinding and dedication . Thanks
This whole video a worthy watch, David you’re doing a great job with your channel. You make it as good as it can be,short of being there in person.thank you.😀🇺🇸
Thanks Freiburger for all that you do. You definitely have the gift of gab. I can't imagine how you and Lohnes fill all that time. People at home don't realize how hard live TV production is at a different location every day. Each year you guys get better and better. Running at one of these in my minivan is on my bucket list. :)
Great to see behind the scenes! Watched it live every day from Reno, NV. Participating in Drag Week and finishing is on my bucket list. The couch riding booger eater getting called out and KJ "MF" Jones will go down in history for sure.
This to me is so cool to see, I have a bit of a better understanding of what goes on in the background, the people, the planning and so many other things to get trough Drag Week. I really appreciate this video Mr. Freiburger.
Dear Dave, thanks for your work, right now sitting on the other side of the earth, drinking beer and enjoying my time, watching your video about things i will never witness, thanks pal for your passion and everything you do, i wish i could shake your hand and thank you lively. but anyway thanks a lot! your biggest fan from Mother Russia! Спасибо за качество!!!
Thanks for this, Dave. you and the rest of the people who make this happen are much appreciated, you seem to have a good team and everyone gives 100%. Love what you are bringing to your channel.
I had the pleasure of meeting you the last time you were at US-131 for Drag Week 2021. Thank you for what you've done - and continue to do - for the drag racing sport. Great video as always. Can't wait to see what you've got in store for us next.
Keith and Tonya Turk really do so much for the sport and for drag week and other drag and drive events, truly appreciate them to the fullest! I remember your 200mph club video and the way you a Keith do things in the land speed racing arena was just amazing to watch.
I love that you’re on TH-cam now because I feel like I always want to make comments on all the roadkill stuff but can’t. I love what you’re doing and love your background info.
Man, i just saved this video as others for a "watch later" video, what an awesome video and behind the scenes info, cannot say enough for this top of the line video with updates & info you dont here anywhere else, GREAT JOB Mr. Freiburger!!!
I watched the live feed all week. You guys were great! On Friday my son, best friend and I were at National Trails. It was our first time attending any sort of drag racing and it was amazing! It won't be our last. Looking forward to seeing more.
Ran my first Drag Week this year and I'm hooked! Thanks for everything you do David, you created a great event format. We had a fantastic time, and I was happy to see my car make your video at 34:41 (dicaprio pointing)
Thanks for this.. And man that 64 polara 500 is beautiful... prettiest mopar ever made.. My '62 plymouth is bout 3 hours work left to do from it's first drive since '78 :)

This one was great, loved the coverage and behind the scenes of the whole event. There was a ton of really cool shots of some fantastic cars, and the end with the photos of all those drivers was really neat. Thanks for putting this together!
Gotta say a huge THANK YOU FREIBURGER!! From thinking this crazy thing up decades ago and knocking out those long days in the tower! Much appreciated!!
Looks like a fabulous time! Love the shirt!! I really am enjoying your work on You Tube. Has great content and you do a wonderful job with history and friendships made along you life journey. Congrats
I made the video!! Broke down on the side of the highway, but I still made it. Cant wait to try it again next year. You, Brian and KJ were great all week. Great video David!!
Thank you for posting this! I've been saying for years there needs to be more of this type of content. The road stories about & from the racers are the best part. Only one third of Drag Week is probably what's on track. The rest of it is more of a human interest story, a battle of survival & perseverance.
I fully enjoyed the live streams. A good job was done by all! Leaving the lanes open until the announced time on the last day is the only fair way to do it. Yes, it results in lots of dead air but when racers are operating under given rules you can't pull the rug out from under them.
That was well very done David. Particularly enjoyed the photo montage at the end. Nice touch. You looked like a Zombie in your end of day clips. Hope you caught up on some sleep!!

I hope you never retire Mr Freiburger! Noone makes motorsports as interesting and exciting as you do.
Exactly! I would of never opened the video if the Frieiburger name wasn't on it. There is a certain style that isn't reproduced anywhere else.
Not true. Danica Patrick does a great job. And she had boobs. Everyone loves boobs.
