  • @datasloth5597

    Ollie you have to remember that there is an extreme cost to repair the car after an incident like the.......oh wait these are just pixels so there is no cost to repair. But you do have to admit that he has to wait at least a week for another chance to race........no that is not right either, I am pretty sure there are races going on all day. The one thing you have to admit though is that everything that happens to people like that, whether it be on the track or IRL is always someone else's fault, nothing is ever their fault and it is going to utterly ruin their life. You are good mate, the reason I watch is you are always quick to say when you are at fault and go back at watch the replay before bemoaning the faults of others. Keep doing you mate, you are just fine.

    He broke so early he stopped at a traffic light in downtown Sydney...

  • @MrRamoSzz

    As Alonso said once: "I can brake wherever I want whenever I want" (if I remember correctly). This is true for each driver and you need to anticipate it, but the braking needs to be safe and this guy clearly wasn't thinking about others here, so the blame is on him this time 100%

    • @regibson23
      @regibson23 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Was this after Alonso cut the nose off a backmarker then immediately hit the brakes? Pretty stupid move.

    • @MatthewScerriM
      @MatthewScerriM 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Of course Alonso would say that lol. I dont think anyone has brake tested other drivers in F1 more than Alonso. I remember Coulthard and Doornboss in his early days and even Lewis more recently. It's illegal in all forms of motorsport too as at the very least it would fall under a catch-all unsportsman/dangerous driving clause, even in the context of F1. Max got penalised for it (and arguably it was nowhere near as bad as any of the ones Fernando pulled off)

    • @MrRamoSzz
      @MrRamoSzz 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MatthewScerriM Indeed, however rules don't forbit to break where you see fit, break checking is other things, my point still remains the same you can do it wherever and whenever you want, but you need to be aware of the consequences and the danger of it. Different drivers have different style of driving and you need to be prepared for that, but at the end of a day if your braking is dangerous to others you are the one to be blamed.

    From my point of view with the league i race with on AMS2 that would be more your fault than theirs.
    Language aside yes they did absolutely brake very early for the corner theres no denying that but looking at it from my point of view you seem to sort of take the ability to react away from yourself.
    Again from my POV where i race i race in they're already 4 cars 2 by 2 in front of you, you have no direction to make any kind of move going into that corner besides hoping one of them stuffs it and you don't get caught up in it being that close. For me given its lap 1 as well you aren't sure how cautious someone's gonna be in that situation as they're still finding the flow. I would have backed off and made a little bit of a gap approaching the corner to give myself that reaction time given theres no room for you to make a move there.
    Just my point of view though, i think its a mixture of blame, they brake early for it and you were just too close behind them heading up to the corner with no move to make on the first lap in my opinion, seems a bit of a risk to take for me based on rulings where i race at.

    My opinion for what it's worth, if it upsets someone that much playing what is ultimately a game, I think they should find another hobby.

    Ollie got too use to bump drafting in the Daytona 500 streams last week, he forgot in road racing you have to break for corners.

    Totally his fault! Cant brake that early and not expect to be rear ended! So after all that id send a protest of his abusive chat just to prove a point! And i very rarely even think of protesting

    As usual, people being way over-aggressive on the start, then raising hell when it causes an issue. Really wasn't any need for anyone to be out of line at that point. Settle in and let things play out rather than try to win the race from . . . tenth? on lap one . . . .
    Anyhow, no not your fault. Just people racing too much too soon.
