I may sound overconfident with this statement, but this has to be one the greatest intro pieces for a concert ever. These guys are so tight. I got this concert on a DVD from my friend some 10 years ago, and listened it to death. And still it makes my body sway to it, amazing stuff.
The opening song is for sure inspired from the Sly and Family Stone instrumental called Thank You For Talking to Me Africa. Larry Graham played bass on that song and often opens his show with the same song.
