I don't know how many times I watched this but I don't care it's beautiful
Same 😂
Discovered Marcus Miller today... some of the best grooves I've ever heard!
A rare find indeed!
He’s got live shows on here going back to the early 90’s. Definitely worth the dive into his shows.
an absolute dream: to see Miller in Europe
jazz is life
you are speaking my language.
marcus is simply one of the best fusion dudes alive
thanks marcus for the beautiful music! and for the stuff you did for miles
with miles...
I get equally impressed every time I hear him play, hear him play the same song 10 times and you hear something new every time.
Without a doubt one of the most influential musicians ever
Are you kidding me??!! Absolutely fantastic! Deliciously rich! Epic. Unsurpassed. Rarely heard talent. Watch, listen, be amazed and entertained like never before.
Love it!!! and his French is on point too?! Woow Bravo Monsieur Marcus Miller!!!!🤩🤩🤩

I just discovered MM yesterday and have been binge watching so many videos of him! Can't believe I've been missing out on this! Love it! Dude can play!
Maybe one of the best video you can find on You Tube !
We had the chance to meet him at the very end of his concert last April in Paris, backstage, and unlike some other artists, he's someone who listens and is accessible...
For the record, he told us that his new album would probably be released this summer ?? Case to follow 🎸
The guy is simply great. I've heard a lots of Bass Players, But Marcus has my vote. I play bass myself, but this Guy has it all.
Marcus Miller and Stanley Clarke....
Marcus is a genius, and this one is probably one of his best concerts.......
the drummer is on spot, the feeling he's giving is perfect
Genialny jest Marcus. Fajnie, że przyjeżdża nawet na taki Młyn Jazz Festival w Wadowicach. Był 5.07.2018 i było genialnie i emocjonalnie! Thanx Marcus!!
some say Alex is still playing drums backstage still to this day.... what a set! I need to see Marcus Miller live at some point
Brett Williams has gotta be THE most underrated, under the radar keyboardist, the guy is just plain bad-ass .............
So True
Guns n' Roses shirt, lol
Beautiful MM continue to take us n your blessings
Great base composition along with the right placing of different instrumentations in a particular time signature that makes the music a fusion between jazz and rythm, a melodic sample of marcus miller a great musician of all time.
Wow! This just made it into my list of favorites. I've had the privilege to see Marcus live and loved it too. This concert is a masterpiece. So well performed and performed. And is that Marcus speaking French? So impressed!
Killer! I could keep watching this.
Magnifique ! I'm in love with this music ! Fantastic Miller's Band ! Thank you so much M. Marcus Miller, Thank's to RTS2 too.
Ça chiredé le papa was la pierre qui roule, franchement tout est bon la dedans, marcus qui parle français et marcus qui roule sa bass et les autres(le batteur) c'est que du plaisir . Thank you !
Awesome as always, so great musicians, with an amazing leader,
One of the best jazz and bass concerts I've seen. I love this concert and I put it as the best music I can listen to. I like Marcus Miller, I think it's my favorite bass.
Марку-супер. Советую послушать Пасториус а как дверь в ещё один мир басистов.
What a composition
oooooooh yaaaaaa thats good stuff
Where was I at. Where my head. This is side I have never seen. But it's good 👍
I saw Marcus Miller in 2015 Lowcountry Jazz Festival and I was so impressed by his bass guitar skills I would, I would recommend anyone that has never seen him live to go see him in fact you might be surprised that he might just give you his autograph like he did to me.
Quel bonheur cette concentration de talent et de technique travaillée
👏👍🤙
GREAT TALENT !!!
that first song...came to this video "just" check what Marcus is doing nowdays - ended up listening whole show. thanks for the music!
Marcus Miller, дякую за хорошу роботу... Ваша творчість надихає до добра. І ще раз дякую.
Amazing. A master and a musical genius👊🏾
Stanley Clarke,Marcus Miller,Jaco Pastorious,Henrik Linder,Victor Wooten,Brian Bromberg, they have made me addicted to the bass, and i am loving every second of it,always decent volume when i listen to them (85dB). :)
Bassguitar/contrabass has always been my favorite instrument, from back to around 1990 when my father played Stanley Clarkes album School Days on a LP to me,instantly hooked!
I discovered Marcus Miller from his colaboration album Thunder for around 1-2 years ago on Tidal, and since that day he is one of my favorite bassguitar players and composers! :)
do you know Michel Hatzigeorgios?
Not forgetting England's Mark King (Level 42)... a white boy arguably better than all of them. :)
When played by a masterful musician bass has the most exquisite texture and substance of all instruments. It's just so... fundamental.
steve bailey
Very Good
Gracias Gracias GRACIAS MARCUS MILLER POR EL ESPECTÁCULO, les estoy amando amigos de You Tube
Amazing Performance!
A Thousand Thumbs Up. I'm an old fan, & still, I'm Flabergasted.

I just wanna quit to watch, and then cant stop it to enjoy the music...just beautiful
WOW. It's so awesome to listen to such genius musicians ...! Love & peace on earth ...!!!
Bringing Funk Back 2 Jazz......Marcus Miller!!!
Yep, jazz... if we're still allowed to call it that because the trendy term for that style is "fusion" and God knows "fusion" may mean anything from Supertramp to Lee Ritenour and everybody in-between. I call it funk with a groove. And that's jazz.
Alex Han perf is just breath taking. Brecker, Grover Washington, Kenny Garrett... All together
rhythm was inside him.miles said.even when he was walking he was walking on a tempo....one of my bass heroes
❤❤❤
I love that the trumpet still plays with him lol
You did great !
Between Marcus, keyboard player and the drummer i honestly can't tell who is better. Just beautifully balanced and tasteful performance
Saxophone et trompette...
you can't say who is better individually, but you can say they are the best together...
Que nivelazo de músicos!!!
Les meilleurs ❤
Marcus Miller has a great French accent!! I think that’s actually pretty cool that he made that effort. Very suave.
He indeed lives in France, since many years…
Merci beaucoup pour cette magnifique musique
Drummer killed that solo.....damn!
Allister Naidoo 🙏🙏
:O A long time ago i had a dream playing to a bass of three strings... is so dreaming listent to this right now, thank you :D
that drummer... is freaking awesome!

awesome horn section...awesome everything, but the dynamics on the horns is like butter...smooth like gelato...smooth like double cream.
yoi.. ice cream champina
Génial maître Miller et quel batteur ce Alex Bailey!
Yessssss Marcus and Band : TOP Excellent BRAVO Merci :-)
Nicolas
Qu'est-ce que c'est bon ! Je pourrais écouter pendant des heures !! Marcus est juste formidable !!! :D
Nneru moi Aussi. Formidable. Thanks
This session which is a good way to distinguish the sound of Marcus Miller with and without the guitarist that I remember if the 4-hour stint so well done about him and not arrogant but truthful and I had not seen his inner group without that great guitarist. Excellent all of these mixes as I love the bass taking care of the melodies but any instrument really does it well.
Amazing performance
My favorite song ever (as a Motown Philly Girl) done the best way ever! Thank you so very very much for posting this. I have it on repeat and shared on social media.
It´s amazing
The first track is "B's River". Genius at work. bless you marcus. My half a century on the planet has been worth it. going to a Michael Jackson concert, seeing you perform about 6 times and seeing Earl Klugh several times. And seeing Barack Obama win the Presidency twice. Cool stuff. The world can be a pretty cool place. Hey Brett, when are you and Alex han going to run for office?
So many positive feelings but no words to say
Nice set!
Great Crowd
The drummer is amazing, first time seeing him
41:53 Blown away! Perfection and timing personified. The crazy part is he makes it looks effortless.
EXACTLY! That's what pros do. Heck, when I watch the olympics, i feel as though i can go to the pool and beat michael phelps!🤣🤣🤣. That is what happens when you watch the best!
Fantastic.
Nice contact with the audience. Speaks rather good French for an... American! Not so frequent not to be mentioned! Nice concert. Long live the Montreux Festival, long live Switzerland!
Kakav car! Od pocetka do kraja!!
LOVED THAT DRUMMER'S MOOD IN 22:00-23:00
Haydar Yenihançer 🙏

Loved this band!!
This is why I love jazz. It is as timeless as life itself. Especially in Cultures that inspire individuality!
"TRULY A MUSICAL BLESSING IN SOOO MANY ARENAS!!!!!!!!!!"🎶🎵🎼🎸🎻🎺🎷
He's an amazing player, no wonder why Miles recruited him in the 80's
Killing me softly , you are an unreal musician/ Artist . !!!
Oh my dear God that gives me shivers
Luxusní, děkuji...!!!
Мастер - на высоте как ВСЕГДА ))))))
Thank beatutiful all that 👍👍👍👍
I was going to just "watch a little bit" but I just couldn't stop listening. What great musicians!! Somebody asked - here's the lineup:
Alex Han - Sax
Brett Williams - Keys
Alex Bailey - Drums
Trumpet - Russell Gunn
Marcus Miller - Bass
Alex one of my favorite saxophonists to listen to. Every time I listen to his solos it's with my soul even more than ears. Check him out on all of the Marcus Miller videos to see what I mean. ESPECIALLY the one where Sean Jones is on trumpet!! Lee Hogans and Russell Gunn are very good, but Sean *mf* Jones!!. Check out the Marcus Miller Northseajazz 2011 @2:00 to see what I mean. Sean is on another whole level on trumpet. He and Alex together were unbelievably good in that concert!! I still get chills on their solos in that video!
I've loved Alex Han's playing since I heard him on Marcus' 'Tutu Revisited'
Robert Peters a
