Super dope live and very happy I already have the Analog Heat +FX in my hands for 2 reasons:
1) I can try the new tricks I learned right away;
2) I can move to the next big question: what is the handy cam that Ricki was using?
Would be great to see more demos on creating specific effects. Like a shimmer reverb type FX preset.

very good video ! there shpuld be more videos like this about this amazing device, it really moved from a mastering device to a whole pedal board. really love some of the tips there. some request now : would it be possible to get more factory presets, I was pretty disapointed by the quantity ( maybe I'm lazy but it looks like you have better sound designers than me. I'd especially like to have some " specific "presets, like some modulated reverbs and delays for ex where there is focus one one particular effect.

this seems like a great machine but i wish it could be programmed to have the option for two mono signal chains or one stereo, rather then just 1 stereo.

Hi . The question is about gain staging.
It is normal that by using the rear analog L/R inputs (therefore without using overbridge) and by putting the analog heat in bypass (after having adjusted the input to the maximum possible volume), I have a signal in the DAW that reaches the maximum around at -23 dbfs? Even if I activate the analog heat and adjust the output with the level knob I can push the maximum around - 23 dbfs before activating the exclamation point on the output meters. Can't I get a stronger signal out?
If I push the signal more the exclamation points above the analog heat meters light up. Is it possible to increase the output signal without cutting anything?
The channel on my apollo x16 is set to +4 dBu and I have no low volume issues with any other external hardware I own to get at least -12 dbfs in my DAW. I just want to know if this is a normal feature of the analog heat fx or I have some problem. Thank you and congratulations for your great work!

The previous versions already had a lot of digital tech in them and I would suggest this is what makes the Heat even better than it would appear at first glance. It tends to get a lot of attention as an ‘analog warming unit’ and sure you can absolutely use it as that. With an envelope follower and lfo (in the earlier versions) it can be used far more creatively or to fine tune the impact of the analog circuits. The latest version expands on that with additional FX integrated tightly with the envelope follower and now multiple lfo’s. To me this makes complete sense as it simply expands on functionality that has always been present. This is quite apart from the fact that if used just as an ‘analog warming unit’ the output is going to end up recorded and distributed in a digital format so adding digital fx in no way detracts from the value the analog circuits provide.
As an aside the Akai Force has envelope followers built-in and they seem to be little talked about. Not key to my central point but worth mentioning I think as they hugely multiply the value of in-built fx in any device.

Yo Elektron... how about just do a demo where you have a synth (like a Prophet 08) going through the Analog Heat? No weird glitchy stuff. No weird lo-fi drums. No modular bs. Just a regular subtractive synth going through the fx.
