All specs for the second generation VMAX (2009-2020) are the same. Yes, it will work on your 2019. What I found is some websites never updated the year of the VMAX after a certain point. In this case they stopped at 2014.
I am also looking to get a trailer for my bike which is a Goldwing Tour. You mentioned you can’t use the restraint system. What do you use for the Goldwing?
@@JeffMarcum I have the new 6th Gen Goldwing tour. You can purchase tie downs to put on the frame. (They don't come from the factory.) Didn't want you to ruin your new bike tying down with the handle bars. You will love the Goldwing.

Nice setup but look up the B&W Biker bar a lot easier to use you drive bike in trailer and it clicks right on to the mount and that’s it.

I don’t have the Gold Wing yet, but when I get it I will use straps.

Not a fan, hope you like it yourself. I use soft ties and tie downs.
For the first time, the vmax has been removed from Yamaha website. Now it's a rarity
