We have a Road Glide and a StreetGlide and we love these!!! Had ours for about 6 years now and switched them out to different trailers. Now using them in our toy hauler. So much easier than using straps.
I recently installed 2 Biker Bars in my 7x14 trailer, one for a touring bike and one for a Softail. Recently went on a trip with both bikes from Virginia to Austin, Texas... 3,000 miles round trip and neither bike moved AT ALL!!! Also want to note that the day before I was on my way way to a truck scale to check the weights and load for hitch weight and was involved in an accident. Driver in a Cadillac Escalade turned directly in front of me and I planted my truck right into his door. The Biker Bar is the real deal! Neither bike moved.... I can't say that would be the case with straps and chocks. Put it in and don't sweat it... If it's installed, adjusted, and set correctly there shouldn't be any problems.
thank you for sharing your story Maddog! That's pretty amazing...I've been a firm believer in this thing for years an while I haven't had any accidents we have had to slam on the brakes pretty hard a few times...and I was worried..but it has never failed me.
Perfect timing. I am moving from Winnemucca Nevada to Mountain Home Arkansas in May. Just bought a enclosed trailer for the bike, 2022 Ultra Apex. Will be using the trailer for rallies, Sturgis for a month and as a home base when traveling. No more tent camping and can buy stuff to bring home.
The biker bar will serve you well! just not having straps to trip over, check every time you stop, or even broken straps...had that happen once..it sucked...Congrats on the new trailer too thats awesome!
A friend and I ordered one each of them in January and am hoping to get them installed this weekend. Good timing on the video for me. I was wondering how it could really hold the bikes securely with just one bar, then I looked at it in my own hands. This thing is sturdy. I know I will be checking each stop on the first trip, but I am pretty confident there will be no issues. I welded up multiple extra 28" plates to be able to place them in four positions in the big trailer and one on each of the smaller trailers. I have the B&W turnover gooseneck ball in the truck and it has never needed anything in 12 years of towing a 40 ft enclosed. Good company to buy from. Thanks for the good video.
Hey glad to help and thats a good idea on the plates! everyone that uses it checks the bikes the first time..I did it to lol but it'll make a believer out of you the first time you use it.
Hey Steve , Great video on these we have been using them for a few years now and they are the only way to go . I think it is just so much more secure than using the straps after we got over the not have straps on the bike and the fear of the bike falling over we dont even worry about it anymore. So thanks again and stay safe out there
Hey...I think we all go through that with the straps...I couldnt take my eye off the bike for the first 5 hours lol my buddy was the same..5 years though and no issues at all. Love it!
I’ve used the Biker Bars since 2014! Have 6 in my trailer for toting our rides to Sturgis. I know, time is of the essence. Have hard tailed it to Sturgis 21 rides. Now go in style using my truck and trailer!
yeah a lot of miles put down riding to these events/ rallys and I'll be honest..the air conditioned truck is pretty nice lol thank you for checking out the video!
I came across a guy that did a video on this a couple years ago and for the life of me could never find it again or think of what the hell it was called! The Google machine couldn't even read my mind on this one lol. Just ordered a new trailer that's supposed to be done the end of March and this is exactly what I want to put in it, so this was great timing Steve! Thanks for another great informative video! 👊
congrats on your new trailer Douglas! thats awesome. I just got this one too and needed to get installed. I've had it 5 years and never had a chance to really do a good video on it til now. Getting ready for Daytona so it worked out perfect. Glad to help bro and thank you for checking it out and the comment!
Good video. Been thinking about these for some time. Using condor chalk and straps for years. Works good but this seems much better. Thanks for sharing
I was the same way Brian...condor and straps for years. Always had straps come loose, had a strap break once, the condor was great but then I got a wrap front fender and the condor was no longer usable as it hit the fender when it flipped up so I finally pulled the trigger on this and never looked back. 5 years and no issues, lock it in and walk away.
I live in Indiana and I can attest that our roads are the worst in the nation and possibly world. Like you said the bridge transitions are awful and always have been. Riding a bike across the bridges is terrible. Man I have been looking at this bar for a while now and you may have just made up my mind. Bike sure looks clean and shiny!
haha, I thought my kidneys were in my ears when I got through there. That biker bar is the real deal man.... I love it and would never own another wheel chock and straps. Yeah, she shined up pretty good..I have a video coming out soon on that...stay tuned! 😜
Ive had that for 5 years and it seems like everytime I have to install I never have time for a video...I knew this time I was doing it...man it was cold that day but we knocked it out! lol Thank you for checking it...100% has never failed me in 5 years!

@@sikbaggers thank you sir. Hopefully I see you in my back yard at Daytona. Thank you for the videos. Just to thank of the particle board garage you started with. To now an awesome thing you got going!! The American dream can still be achieved in FJB world.
@@kennethdocken4802 yes sir Ill be there the first weekend and probably through tuesday, weather permitting. Ive seen people install it open trailer for sure...if its wood plank I would really try to grab a frame rail though or add one right where you are planning on mounting it.

Im not super sure on that but I would assume its because the softail frame is smaller ...give them a call they are always super helpful when I call them...great company!
I have a toyhauler and I am getting tired of the straps. I'll be in Daytona and hoping to find the biker bar at a discounted price there. Hope to see you there as well, have a safe trip😎

Much appreciated
I have owned these for 8 years and I live in NC and go to Daytona every year and have never had a moments trouble the best investment that i have made great product
Yes...the bike in this video is full air ride, front and rear ...as stated towards he end never park your bike on the center and on this and always lave some air in your shocks...get the bike level with the base plate nd drive it in...lock it in and walk away from it.
Any idea what kind of clearance you need between frame and ground? I have air ride and all the way down i have about 3.5 inches between frame and ground
my bikes have air ride also...you dont want to haul it with no air in the system...adjust like I did in the video going into the biker bar, lock it in and give a slight bump up if you want at the end to add more pressure on the system...that's how I've done it for years now
Absolutaly not...all you need is the biker bar. Nothing else. The handle bars will not move in the straight position once its locked on. DO NOT turn your handlebars and lock them while it is in the biker bar.
Thje wheel stays straight...ive hit some big ass pot holes and the wheel have never moved. It literally is "lock it down and forget it" Its not going any where. Youre trailer floor will come apart before that biker bar does.
Its the Native Custom Baggers Fat front wheel and its their Half Breed fender ..here is my video on the install. th-cam.com/video/qTqp6nneq4Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=r4WO1ktWvG0pMPAB
I don't want to drill the floor of my toy hauler and I currently have a piece of 3/4" press board fit to the bottom of my garage with my Condor wheel chock mounted on it. Would that same method work with the biker bar so I would not need to drill through my floor?floor?
I dont know that that scenerio would be the same...the biker bar relies on the floor to sandwich those two pieces together and gives it its strength. I don't think I would rely just on the one board to hold my bike...I know for sure BW would tell you absolutely not.
yes....youre 30" requires you rake the bike which would put your frame back to normal instead of cranked up in the front...im assuming you have air ride as well...use it to adjust and go into the frame of the biker bar.
The company will not cover sudden stops. I watched a video when two bikes popped loose from the biker bar during a sudden stop. Bikes damaged. Apparently the weight off the bike during a sudden stop can force it out of the bar
Been on the brakes pretty damn hard over the years and never had a bike slide or come off...seriously had some very close calls with all wheels and tires locked up...no issues.
We gotta trailer down to bike week .. Can’t assume it’s gonna be above 30 And not snowing in IL at the beginning of March. Why can’t it be April so we can ride !? Dammit I don’t do well in cars on long trips.
thats where were trailering from...I guess im getting older and just enjoy the quite, climate controlled, soft seats of my truck for those long hauls..im fresh when we get there and can ride for days not being wore out from the trip down.
@@sikbaggers I have my baggers hand grips like 3/4” from the walls of my cargo trailer and they don’t even come close to hitting anything with this system. Absolutely fantastic. I just find you have to dial in the preload on the clamp just right or the bars can rotate a little. Once you get it right they don’t budge.
@@sikbaggers The mounting spot is on the non-drop part. The trailer hinges in the middle, and the bike can't be ridden into the Biker Bar with the rear wheel lower than the front. Because then when you raise the drop tail, the suspension won't compress that much. It binds everything up. I was sure I could make it work and have a unique setup, but it beat me. Plus, the floor of the trailer is diamond plate. Biker Bar requires 3" of wood I believe, to be mounted on.
Never seen it happen. It locks the bike down, You want to feel it pull the bike down slightly when you lock it in. You can see when the bar goes in on the close up, it kind of sucks it down. never had one turn on me...you can always throw on a strap on each side if you want...most trailers have some basic hooks in them already..but just never had one turn on me.
Look for the Advanblack booth at the Motor Speedway. We have always been set up at HD but this year were doing the speedway so im not exactly sure where it will be at the raceway yet. We wont be too hard to find.
Haha man I would if I could! Were staying at daytona for a few days and then dipping out to my wifes parents for the rest of the trip....we need a vacation and rally for us is more work than relaxing.,...I hope to see you sometime at one of these though!
@@sikbaggers after you go to so many of them they all start to be the same….i wish you weren’t so far I think you would love the smokeout in Salisbury in September, it’s an old fashioned style biker party not a bunch of guys on big wheel baggers playing rap music so damn loud they can hear it 2 counties over
hahha! ...those roads killed me...we went to Northern Ohio 2 times in 3 months...I dont know how you guys and gals do it...felt like my kidneys were going to burst after one trip through there.
Biker Bar model MC2301 is compatible with Harley-Davidson Tri-Glide and Free Glide up to model year 2014. In 2015 HD changed the location of their emergency brake which interferes with installation of the Biker Bar.
Steve says not snow ball chance in hell am I crawling under this trailer with me new Dixon flannel on get your ass under the trailer 😂😂😂. Great video Steve that’s my next big purchase then I can really start traveling with my bike I can’t just ride everywhere anymore I just can’t.

lol its natural...everyone usually is, including me, the first time. Ive hauled this bike from Illinois to ohio 2 times, strugis 2 times, daytona 3 times etc etc...it has a lot of miles on it and not one single issue. I have several friends that use at as well....never heard a single complaint about it. just to be clear in not sponsored by b&w ...I've had this thing for about 5 years and just wanted to do a video on it. They did reach out after I posted it and thanked me and sent some t shirts which was cool of them. But ill never travel again without it.
I am from Indiana and I have always wondered why they didn't build a ramp from the road up to the bridge floor. I think the construction company come from Illinois.😂😂😆😆😉😉 Be careful, ride safe.
Dude I'm so skeptical about buying that thing it just I don't know it scares the F out of me and then the thing is I have two Condors up front 300.00 for each, I might as well just stick with what I have but them things look cool as hell.
yeah, the condors are the way to go if you use a chock...and if you have them, sell them and recoop your money if you want to change to these. Dont be skeptical..I dont work for, nor was I sponsored by B&W. This is my real 5 year review and 4th trailer this one has been in. I will never use anything else. Read some comment son them...not a single bad one to read.
haha man they are so easy! Easy to install, easy to attach and super solid. Been using mine for 5 to 6 years now. Its been in 3 different trailers if im being honest...depends on who we go with...but I always have it!
biker bar is where i go to get a shot of jack and a sandwich on my way to where im going. 50 years of riding these great United States of America and ive never owned a trailer/ rv, ect.... of courses my bike ain't as pretty ,or clean as yours and i be willing to bet its got a shitload more miles on it.

thats where were trailering from...I guess im getting older and just enjoy the quite, climate controlled, soft seats of my truck for those long hauls..im fresh when we get there and can ride for days not being wore out from the trip down.
Pretty sweet 👊🏽😎
Thank you for checking it out bro! Much appreciated.
Are you going to have a booth at Teddy’s Harley at bike week?
We will be at the international speedway this year. Look for the Advanblack booth
Might try one in bed of our Silverado. Don’t like trailers
2WD 1500 with 2” drop in rear, use ramp drive FXSTC in
Shiny side up 👍
Make sure to hit something underneath in the truck bed that will sandwich the plates and not just the bed. Bed metal is usually pretty thin.
That’s a gimme sir 👍
Ride safe

Best system available
100%!!! Never failed me in 5 years! Thank you for checking it out
@@sikbaggers I have my baggers hand grips like 3/4” from the walls of my cargo trailer and they don’t even come close to hitting anything with this system. Absolutely fantastic. I just find you have to dial in the preload on the clamp just right or the bars can rotate a little. Once you get it right they don’t budge.
I have two of these for sale, both barely used (Indianapolis area). I love them, but they don't work with my drop-tail style trailer.
Hey jerry, is the mounting area in the bend part of the trailer? how come you cant use it? That really sucks man
@@sikbaggers The mounting spot is on the non-drop part.
Awesome 😎
Thank you for checking it out!
Another great video 🫡🤙🏽
Thank you dale! Much appreciated!
Thank you so much for this information i have been looking into the biker bar appreciate it 😎🙏🫶🥃🥃
Youre very welcome! Glad to help!
Does it matter if the wheel falls to one side(the forks turn) enroute?
Never seen it happen. It locks the bike down, You want to feel it pull the bike down slightly when you lock it in. You can see when the bar goes in on the close up, it kind of sucks it down. never had one turn on me...you can always throw on a strap on each side if you want...most trailers have some basic hooks in them already..but just never had one turn on me.
Do you or can you use it with a front wheel chock with the bar??
it would have to be exactly lined up...There is no need of it though
Do you still use a wheel chalk?
You do not use a wheel chock...never had the handlebars move once it locked in
where are you going to be set up at in daytona I would like to come by and say hello
Look for the Advanblack booth at the Motor Speedway. We have always been set up at HD but this year were doing the speedway so im not exactly sure where it will be at the raceway yet. We wont be too hard to find.
Well Steve since you just have 1 bike in there you might as well stop here in eastern NC and pick me up and I’ll ride down to Daytona with you ! Lol
Haha man I would if I could! Were staying at daytona for a few days and then dipping out to my wifes parents for the rest of the trip....we need a vacation and rally for us is more work than relaxing.,...I hope to see you sometime at one of these though!
@@sikbaggers after you go to so many of them they all start to be the same….i wish you weren’t so far I think you would love the smokeout in Salisbury in September, it’s an old fashioned style biker party not a bunch of guys on big wheel baggers playing rap music so damn loud they can hear it 2 counties over
As a trucker from West Central Illinois I can verify that on my regular runs to Long Island NY the Indians part of the trip is the worst.
hahha! ...those roads killed me...we went to Northern Ohio 2 times in 3 months...I dont know how you guys and gals do it...felt like my kidneys were going to burst after one trip through there.
Will this work with an HD Trike?
Biker Bar model MC2301 is compatible with Harley-Davidson Tri-Glide and Free Glide up to model year 2014. In 2015 HD changed the location of their emergency brake which interferes with installation of the Biker Bar.
Thanks for the quick reply Mine is a 24 so I guess I'll continue with the straps
Steve says not snow ball chance in hell am I crawling under this trailer with me new Dixon flannel on get your ass under the trailer 😂😂😂. Great video Steve that’s my next big purchase then I can really start traveling with my bike I can’t just ride everywhere anymore I just can’t.
aaahhahhha LOL ahhahah hey now I crawled under there before we shot and checked everything out..JR didnt want to be on camera so he jumped right under there...I kinda pushed him at the end though to give us his story lol thanks for checking it out and I feel ya man...by the time I ride somewhere im wore out and dont want to ride anymore plus the truck has AC and comfy seats lol
I would be scared shitless !! lol.. But I trust your opinion sir…
lol its natural...everyone usually is, including me, the first time.
Nice system. Never hearf of them. 👍🏽🤠 02/17/24
Absolutely...these things are amazing! Solid as rock, lock it in and forget it! Thanks for checking it out!
I am from Indiana and I have always wondered why they didn't build a ramp from the road up to the bridge floor.
I think the construction company come from Illinois.😂😂😆😆😉😉
Be careful, ride safe.
hahaha man ill admit our Illinois roads suck too but man those bridges in Indiana were insane ... asshole pucker every time I seen one coming ahaha
Cool video!!
Thank very much for checking it out!
I moved to CA cause the IN roads were so bad… 😂
LOL I believe you!
the only way to go...use all your old straps for hanging out the laundry!
hahaha aaaahhahha thats great man! Thanks for checking out the video!
for $400.00 they could supply bolts...
they include the bolts to install it...if you want to screw in the base plates, which is optional, get some size10 wood screws ...they are cheap
Indiana roads are crap,I think engineers have left the room here😅😅😅
Yeah they definitely gave that job to the lowest bidder. 😂
Try driving a semi across Indiana!!
I will take a hard pass on that man...I avoid that damn state at all costs lol thanks for checking out the video Greg!
Wouldn’t fit with a legend air ride
Yeah that sucks..I use Dirty air and it works great
Hey Steve jus ride the damn bike lol jk no really this looks like a great product. I may invest in a couple for us . Thanks again ✊
haha man they are so easy! Easy to install, easy to attach and super solid. Been using mine for 5 to 6 years now. Its been in 3 different trailers if im being honest...depends on who we go with...but I always have it!
😎👍👍
Thanks for checking it out!
🖐👌
thank you sir!
biker bar is where i go to get a shot of jack and a sandwich on my way to where im going. 50 years of riding these great United States of America and ive never owned a trailer/ rv, ect.... of courses my bike ain't as pretty ,or clean as yours and i be willing to bet its got a shitload more miles on it.
haha yeah I guess there is two very different versions of biker bars.
