  • Summer crappie fishing is one of my favorite activities especially when you find a stacked school of crappie! On this trip, I was able to find a decent school of crappie out on my rental boat, and filled my limit within the first hour of fishing!

    Try cooking crappie in scorched butter. Use a light-colored pan so you can see when butter turns light brown. Drop in fish (scaled, salt and pepper only) skin on, maintain med/high heat until skin is crispy, flip, and repeat. Fillet the fish with your fork as you eat and enjoy that crispy skin.

      @@SamongOutdoors I have been into the cropping so deep I was catching 3 at a time per setup as well Sometimes it almost seems like it worked better because it would almost put them into a feeding frenzy because the crappie Start going crazy once one starts attacking a jig they'll go for the other 2 there as well

  • @shawneldridge4465
    @shawneldridge4465 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    🙋
    These little crappie bait are also good for trout, I always use the smaller sizes that I can, anyway what I do is likely bounce or jig them off the bottom and the trout goes crazy for them.
    Even though they're for crappies.
    Can't help with the fish go nuts over. Hey I'm not complaining, with these real small tiny ones, I could catch different species. I could catch crappies, trout and panfish with them. From time to time I'll catch small perch as well.
