How often should you do this or what are the symptoms that it needs to be cleaned?
You should clean the clutch pads when you have trouble locking them up.
You wiped the grease off of the shaft but you did not re-grease the shaft. Do you re-grease the shaft and if so what grease would you recommend?
Hi kayakhomer - you do not need to regrease the shaft. There is enough grease on the bearings that you do not need to add any more.
