Bambi II Movie Review (I have mixed feelings...)

Bambi, a Walt Disney Animation Studios movie released in 1942, would be the last film you’d expect to receive a sequel in the early 2000s. And yet, that’s what we got in 2006 with Bambi 2. A “sequel” that actually takes place in between the events of the first film, this movie details the course of our protagonist’s life as he must grow up without his mother, but with a new parental figure that he must gradually grow accustomed to.
The confusing nature of an unnecessary Disney sequel released 64 years later aside, is this movie really that bad? Well, this video outlines the events of the movie and how they either do or do not work at creating a pleasant experience. So let’s begin!

I don’t hate this movie. It’s not terrible. It does try to recreate the look and feel of the first movies. For the most part, it succeeds
Honestly.... I've always just been irritated over the fact that Bambi is a whitetail deer and his Father is.... a mule deer?? With a mixture of elk in those damn antlers?????? 🙄

02:21 I Don't think this scene is a good example for your argument. He is only repeating a knowledge his mom gave him, kids love repeating facts they learned from adults.

@@StickyBrickBuilderhey there! If you want Disney sequels to review, I’d say Pocahontas 2 or Lion King 2. One’s awesome, the other one is absolute garbage. I’d also add Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Christmas and both Little Mermaid sequels, maybe which Little Mermaid sequel did better? Really enjoyed this essay, despite I’ve only seen the original movie, but from what I’ve seen and heard Bambi 2 definitely isn’t the worst sequel out there, and if anything is one of the better ones that just needed a little tweaking (like not making Rondo the other buck appear just to be a major brat for no reason, and nothing comes from their relationship aside them fighting for Feline in the original movie, and btw the other buck doesn’t die, only gets knocked down a waterfall and probably either hunted down or engulfed in the forest fire)

Yeah, I know Ronno doesn't actually die from Bambi in the first movie, it was just a joke from my Bambi 1 video that I didn't quite make clear in this one 😅. I am planning on reviewing other Disney sequels in the future if I can ever find time to spend on making videos!
Everyone else: Bambi’s was so good as a movie! I always cried as a kid and I still do!
Me: uhhh… I thought Bambi’s was a boring movie so I’d didn’t watch it….
Great critisism. I also found it weird how Bambi always had the mood swings about missing his mom and them being happy again. I think they should have gone deeper on how the death effected his childhood. I also did not get why Faline did not do anything when Ronno attacked Bambi, she could have had a bigger role in the movie over all. However I found Bambi 2 to be better then Bambi 1, since Bambi 1 just bored me. Same applies to a lady & tramp 2 when compared to lady & tramp 1, so I am looking forward to the Video you are gonna make to this.

Maybe. I do have thoughts about it but I feel like The Lion King is also pretty overdone.
@@StickyBrickBuilder True, but I think many people would still like to watch it. You could also do a review on lion king 2, the opinions on that movie seem kinda devated as far as I know. I personally think the Film had the potential to be better, would be cool to see your opinion.

I wrote the script back when Security Breach was more relevant. By the time I actually edited the video I was like “Oh yeah, I put this in.”
But I think the song is fun and uplifting enough that it fits the tone of the scene, despite being from a horror game.
