What was the size of your propeller and do you have a hydrofoil installed?

This motor seems to be quieter than other motors.
my force 85 has a deep growel, not agravating like mercury high pitched buzz of the same era. omc is more tolerable also.

What type of boat V bottom or flat bottom plans the best at lower speeds?
Definitely flat bottom.
A 50 rude with a 17 inch would have you at 36 mph on that lite alum. Boat!
