Old BASS TRACKER gets a Suzuki 50hp repower!

We...or rather I, decide the 1996 BassTracker Pro Team 17 could use a repower! A beautiful 2022 Suzuki 50hp somehow finds it way onto the transom and we take her immediately to the Suwannee River! Thanks for watching. Please enjoy.

Buddy…she been through the trenches! A few sets of wires, multiple batteries, fuses, etc. it’s probably 15 years old atleast!

hi well i heard a Suzuki dealer say by to new boat motor unless it breaks they never see it unless it pay storage at there shop! the guy said by to new motor he never see them unless it a trade up they run with very little problems!

Can we get an updated video on the boat? I’m selling my 25 Mercury 2 stroke and repowering with a tohatsu engine on my bass tracker 165 … I like that Suzuki though and also what did you use to deep clean the back hatch where the gas tank and batteries go

Amazing! The 50hp 4 stroke is not as fast out of the hole as the 2 stroke was initially but the 4 stroke and 10hp netted almost 8 more mph on the top. She can hit low 40s with proper conditions. Plenty for us!
