Back in 2020, there was a gòv official (can't recall if they were local or fed) who said on camera, and I quote, "... we are coming for you all. And if (you) think you're safe in the subs or rural areas, think again, because we're coming for you too." I tried to find the link for that clip.... low-n-behold, it's now nowhere to be found. (imagine that) So, my point of view on this song/video's message is this... people who are united in any community, rural, city neighborhoods, sub-burbs, etc. aren't going to tolerate outsiders (set-up or otherwise) coming in and destroying their (our) communities. We can and will take action until LE can get to us. FAA FO

The only problem with this song is the way the talking heads of the networks try to guide everyone into believing it is raciest. If you listen to the first verse he pretty much tells us what the song is about. The visuals show a white girl spitting in the face of a cop and several of the images are white people with their faces covered committing crimes. I think he is trying to say we need to all stick together and watch each others back. Large cities may not be small towns but they do have areas within them that have small communities that can watch each others backs. Just the opinion of an old guy. Good reaction.

    • @Kentucky_Konservative
      @Kentucky_Konservative ปีที่แล้ว

He said something that gets to the heart of the matter and it is that the riots, mayhem, looting and overall criminality depicted in Mr. Aldean's video WAS manufactured. The rioters were transported and encouraged to do what they did. They simply outnumbered police and there was little authorities could do... except watch.
Word gets around in small towns. People protect one and help one another.
The talking heads are trying desperately to politicize the song because it speaks to their narrative. They're trying to silence the truth and is straight out of Saul Alinsky's nasty little Marxist book "Rules for Radicals." Rule No. 9, "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself." He explains, "Perception is reality...The possibilities can easily poison the mind and result in demoralization." Rule No. 12, "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it." Alinsky says, "Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions."
Those against this song are absolutely wrong about the message. The message is very simple: wrongs you do in a big city, you can't do in a small town.
The majority of people in the videos are white. So don't hand me that "It's racist" claptrap.

I am surrounded with small towns in Arkansas, and what Jason Aldean is saying is true. As an Uber driver, I have been experiencing it. Last night, I had a rider who had run out of fuel on a highway, and the only town close was a small town called West Fork, in which they had a gas station nearby that was open 24 hours, in which there was not a major city for miles. I took these people to the small town that was pretty much quiet in that small town around midnight. They were very grateful for me and my taking them to the gas station. I was raised in a small town at the time, called Centerton, so his song hits home for me, and every lyric is true. You really can’t get very far in a small town, unless you know the roads well, otherwise you can find yourself lost in the streets of the gravel or dirt roads, in my opinion.

Already a sub to your channel but even though I don’t see it exactly the same as you, I have a like too because we all have different paths that leave us with different thoughts on things. So I respect you for giving it a fair listen & watch and that’s what is missing in our country is ADULTS being able to come together and have conversations to understand others from different backgrounds. We’re not nearly as divided as the media likes to claim. Nothing in this song to me was racist. Does he in a polite way say “F around & find out? “ maybe that could be said but to me as a lifetime small (2 red lights & our school was kindergarten-12th) this literally means exactly what he said. We have each others back in a small town, no matter of color, gender, etc & even against a usually maybe “enemy” locally against a stranger or anyone damaging our town. So people keep looking to interpret his meaning where the words are just literal. The news footage used for the video was aired on all mainstream media news but no one called it racist. He wasn’t against protesting, he is against foolery, criminal activity, looting, fires to businesses etc. how is that at all racist? Sadly it’s the country we live in because of the media.

Long time sub of yours Mr. Mugnify, really enjoy your channel. I love a good conspiracy, however, here is an interesting perspective. This song had been out for several months, was just floating along as an average unremarkable country song with an average expected life span... UNTIL.. it was cancelled! Only then did it take on the viral life it is now living. A deliberate act of promotion for political points (in THIS case) doesn't pass the smell test for me. IMO our leftists mainstream media felt threatened by the message (particularly the video), pro gun, self reliance, manliness, love for our country, etc. they made the calculation it had to be buried. Big miscalculation, big backlash, so we have what we have. What do you think?

Everyone else went down on the ground. Me? I called 911, read off the license plate of the car, full description, description of the kidnappers and victim. A police heliocopter tracked the kidnappers' car. Patrol cars cornered that car, arrested both kidnappers, and saved the victim - alive! I was thanked by police and Black Civil Rights' attys. My new favorite song. It’s amazing. And yes you’re correct, it’s very self explanatory. And all of these thugs that committed these crimes probably had no jobs and nothing better to do.

ALSO From the same history of the Maury County Courthouse: On June 15, 1904, the ground was broken for the new building. The cornerstone was set a few months later on October 8th by Dick Porter, a man estimated to be over 120 years of age. As a slave, he worked on the two previous courthouses in 1808 and 1846. Now, as a free man, he was selected to lay the first trowel of mortar on the cornerstone.

Go find reaction videos from 4-5 days ago, they'll show you the whole thing. One of the news orgs complained that he stole their footage without their permission. Then there is a segment at the end about some farmers taking care of each other that's been removed as well, probably for the same reason. I am not a country fan but I do love this song, it's got enough heavy riffs to keep me interested. And I like the message.

You are a good man , you’re speaking from the heart. Some messages in the song relate to most Americans we want safety the right to protect ourselves. People who want to be triggered are gonna be offended. Thanks for thinking about it and one by one change the narrative that America is broke.? Most Americans share common values. By the way it is a good song and the imagery is powerful. Take a look political map and there are many large sections of the Nations are outside of Urban areas…small town culture is what keeps people from the desire to relocate into large Cities where they are forced to accept different set of acceptable behavior or risk being criticized for speaking out.

The song came out in May. but didn't catch any viewers til the video came out.. I am an old MTV lady and the videos were half the message of the songs. Sometimes shit gets by in small towns as well, when it shouldn't . Overall I want to take the message of we are all Americans and we better start standing together, or a lot worse is gonna happen.. Standing for what we know is right, our family, friends, community, state and nation.. ID here.

The video had 5-6 seconds removed because the end of the video, fox news claimed copy right forcing Jason Aldean to cut it or be sued. They are manufacturing it. The end helped give context as it was a farmer in a wheelchair talking of needing help and community being there. I love this song but grew up in a small town. And it angers me people's perception of what that means. For me, it meant Church multiple days a week, going with my grandparents to senior centers to see former neighbors, taking food to family, getting spanked getting off the bus by various family and family friends because doing wrong in school traveled faster than the bus. 😂 Community, values instilled, I'm thankful every day for my small town and upbringing.

It's just the way it is. Like you said"Rules are different in a small town". And if you do that in a small town even Google won't be able to find them. We have more guns on hips if regular people of all races at Walmart that if someone comes in acting a fool that person will be dealt with by both races of guns. ❤ From a small town in Alabama

Well it comes down to a very minor point the song has a good point on everything it does, problem some people can't handle it and it all comes down to the fact that the Republican party of the orange Mafia does not like it. So for everybody keep up the good work and we all stand up for an American citizens rights. Remember truth justice and the American way. Not the orange Mafia way!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The message of the song is GREAT. The lyrics are simple, yet powerful. The title should be "Don't Try That In A Small Town". Being from a small, multi-racial, town where the citizens stood together, the message is TRUE. Plus, I think there are currently a lot of towns, sub-divisions, neighborhoods, and even sections of larger towns where the citizens stand together against the type of violence depicted in the video. When the riots were actually happening there were a lot of smaller (and maybe larger) communities that were strapped, locked, and loaded; ready to protect the community from such violence. In one county (yeah, county) the Sheriff deputized all citizens and indicated that they should protect their communities from this violence if it comes into the county. Guess what, it didn't. Wonder why. There are examples if you look for them.

It was edited there are 2 versions. 1ST video had beginning fox news footage, they demanded it was removed in begining and different ending with a man in wheel chair in hospital & all the farmers in town stopped working to go help their community when they heard he b ended help, for the injured farmer in their home town.
