Drive modes can be changed while driving. Always consult the owner’s manual before off-road driving, know your terrain and trail difficulty, and use appropriate safety gear.
it depends on what you are comparing it to, ofc traction on these midsize trucks wont be as good in comparison to a normal car or an suv. Have to also keep in mind that its quite high off the ground, so the center of gravity is higher. Also have to keep in mind that this is the little brother to the F150 raptor (which is a much more capable vehicle off road). you are paying a lot less for the ranger raptor, so you cant expect it to operate the same way that a full size pickup would do.
@@JimBering yeah, because Ford can't hire competent engineers to design a decent traction control system, what it has its just a gimmick. (torque vectoring if you will)
Most fun vehicke youll ever drive

Usually the vehicle will prompt you if it needs you to stop to do something like a dif lock or something

@@JeffriIndot Off road traction control!
Thank you for your comment. The Ford Ranger is equipped with a rear differential locker on specific trims.
The Ranger Raptor has a front and rear locking differentials. I have one. It's the best off-road vehicle I have ever owned.
