🙋Hello from south Ga. I love Ur adventures. The white spinny shell you found is an oyster and it's called a spinny jewel box. They are light pink on the inside. Some are not so pink. Stay safe and great finds. God bless🥰
Glad you enjoy spiny jewelboxes i love them too the ones in swfla are awesome beautiful purple inside.. so many sea buscuits.. cant wait to see your projects!
If you want to make a necklace out of the fossils, you need a rotary-tool and Diamond drillbits, water and time! Check your markets for the tool needed.
I have all of those tools. I used to cut glass and drill holes in them. Two days ago found what was missing in my storage for 4 years lol. Had to empty that unit finally. State bought the units to extend the highway. Glad they did because now I know what I had this whole time. Lol
I'm guessing you are on barrier islands in North Carolina? I traveled there 11 years ago and had no luck at all collecting shells. Looks like I should try again.
That rock you found looks like some kind of quartz. Not sure. I love your channel. I love the ocean but got stuck in landlocked Montana. I cant imagine being anywhere where you walk on shells every step you take. Ive been to California's coast but NOTHING like that! Too close to Japan I think.🤔 Thanks for taking me shelling with you! SO JEALOUS! 😊
Neat finds! Thanks for sharing...😊
Thanks and thanks for watching:)
Spiny jewel box. Sometimes the spines get quite long.great shark tooth and funny pirate joke. lol 😆

Thanks for watching all the way from the Treasure State and the land of rugged natural beauty. I am glad you liked the video. Thanks for your comment.
I am showing that rock to a friend this week. He knows his rocks. I thought it was some kind of quartz too.

We like to call those fossil concretions "fossil soup".
😀
I’m going to Holden Beach this week!! 😊 which side of the pier are you on? I just found your channel and I’m enjoying it.
I am on the north side of it. People are congregated on both side of the pier. Thanks
They are jewel box
Thank you. Barely find them in SC.
Do u ever sell some shells on line
No .. I don't.. I barely pick them up. The only time if a friend asked me or if any Local organizations need some for fundraising.
The rock is white quartz.
Thanks
Chalcedony
Have not seen them around here before... :)
