First... I love your videos. Second, for the crazy lace. Cut it first and then break off some pieces to tumble. I'm on my final day of tumbling Mexican Craze Lace Agate today... I can't wait.
The best sound effects! What a beautiful bunch of rocks. I can't wait to see them either cut, cut, cut or tumbled. I looks like you made a great purchase. Who knew, a box of rocks.
Ariel, love your craft and love your enthusiasm! I love rocks too! You have some of the best agates and rocks! This last show $281.00 box was the Greatest!!!!! I wish I had so many of yours Keep it up! ❤️
I loved this so much! It’s so much fun to see the same sense of joy, wonder and excitement that I have ❤ Thanks for sharing your beautiful new collection!! Also. Loved your sound effects 😅
this takes me back to my own rock obsession days as a little girl... I used to live next to a mineral/gem store that wasn't woowoo and i need to find a nice desk piece for my work office
I geek out over rocks too. When I visit Minnesota, that's all I want to do is go to Lake Superior and look for rocks, but I guess I should visit my kids and grands too...;) Luckily, my grands love rock hunting too!
Hi Ariel, this is my 1st time watching one of your videos. You are so cute and funny. The sound affects are "PRICELESS!" I moved to Arizona last June. I'm in love with how many different rocks are here. I'm from Minnesota... I have been watching Agate Dad. The rocks are amazing in that package. Money well spent if you ask me.
OMG that was a huge spend on rocks but soooo worth it! Those beautiful rocks were just amazing! Green tree agates are some of my favorite and just look stunning tumbles! And that Brazilian agate chunk is just going to be ridiculous when you cut it! And that crazy lace is drop dead gorgeous! I couldn't bring myself to break it or cut it up! I would pay to have it polished as is! And all the Malawi agates babies and large ones are going to be fun! And that sarape jasper is just stunning! Wow! You are going to have soooo much fun! Thanks for sharing your box of rocks with us!❤
For the crazy lace...do both. Cut down the middle and make a few slabs from each half...then tumble the remainder either as is, or cut them in half for four pieces to tumble.
BEAUTIFUL!!! I can’t believe those agates you got! 0:00 That large crystal agate oh No! Too Gorgeous. I want it so much!! Love your enthusiasm and glad you bought all this. I so enjoyed todays video! I love Agates!!! Thanks, Linda So beautiful!
I just spent $400 on rocks at the Rock Shed. If you love rock tumbling like I do, it's money well spent. I wash my rocks off before they go in the tumble, as well. You can see the patterns & colors better, plus you get the dust & litter bits off them
Love that crazy lace. I'd love to see a bunch of polished slabs, so we can see all the little details inside. I wouldn't want to tumble it, you'd lose too much of the stone that way, and every bit of it is so cool! Same thing with the sarape jasper.
I think you did exactly the right thing and the results of what you’ve got in the post are fantastic and well worth the money. I’m sure that also that when you polish the ones that you are going to polish, they will be worth a lot more and you will get so much enjoyment out of them. That big one you have is gorgeous.😱❤️
The crazy lace would look awesome as slabs, and then if any of it breaks into chunks that will work for tumbling, then give that a go... Such an amazing piece of agate!!
It looks like there's PLANTS in that rock and/or crystal at 2:20 🤨 I've NEVER seen anything like that. Truly amazing. I would NOT mess with, change or manipulate that rock in any way..... THAT'S rare. It's literally probably plants in that rock. HOW that's possible, Idk.
Have you ever rock hunted or gotten any rocks from Little Rock Arkansas? My grandmother and aunt moved there when I was little and I used to find so many crystals and loved to find ugly skinned rocks to break open and find gorgeous crystals inside and some were like agates...not being old enough to know anything about minerals I can't say for sure. But I know that there are some awesome rocks to be found there. Arkansas also has a diamond field that the public can dig in...and it produces. I always wanted to go but never got to go. My favorite rock always was the pink quartz that was common in our driveway. I still have one...just one from my childhood that I had put in my old jewelry box. I hope I still have it...but it's in my memories if not. This was soooo fun! You are a wealth of knowledge and I can't wait to see more of what you have in your collection. My favorite thing to do is to watch opal rubbing with Justin from Black Opal Direct...all his come from Lightening Ridge Australia. I enjoy other channels for rock hounds too. So I'm a new sub to your channel!
When you opened the box I recognized the label on a couple of packages. Yes they have a great selection and I have bought slabs and polished stones from them at shows but I love seeing the rough. I plan to get some once I can set up a tumbling area.
Yeah worth every penny!! I fully enjoy watching your video. Both the beauty of the rocks and also just to hear the excitement and passion these rocks give you. I can fully understand your dilemma not wanting to disturb this beauty as you found them but also want to cut it in pieces just to pry out all the beauty the rocks have. Good luck with all your future rocks. You rockstar! 😂
Wow Ariel, what a great haul! That Crazy Lace is fantastic! It's big enough that I would be tempted to cut a slab or two off the best faces and then polish all the cut faces that are on the remainder.
If your large chunk of Crazy Lace Agate were mine, I would slab it on All sides to open up the hidden interior patterns. What fun! What do you use all your tumbled stones for? In all the years I bought stones: rough, slabs or chunks on occasion, I never tumbled them, as I prefered slabbing so I could then cut interesting shapes for creating handcrafted jewelry.
YES I would ABSOLUTELY spend $300 on rocks!! I also find it cute how excited you get about seeing orange lol. We have pretty high iron where I am so everything starts out orange but depending on what I pick up, most of that orange tumbles off
That crazy lace agate is phenomena! The Botswana agates with the yellow & that piece of tree agate with the stem & leave designs - well. the whole haul was just incredible - but those were some of my favorites
New subscriber! My son saw a rock tumbler at his school science fair. He decided he wanted to do it so we got one. We stumbled upon your videos looking for help. Watching your videos is becoming our favorite past time aside from finding our own rocks and tumbling them. We also make it up to Duluth a couple times a year and already had a supply of rocks we had gathered for fun. Thanks for the great content. Can’t wait to see you cut the geodes and large agate!
That was a fun video. You got a really nice assortment and great quality with all of them. I am drawn to Sarape jasper, so I really like that one a lot. I would slab it and the Mexican Crazy Lace or MCL for short. Thanks for sharing.
Bought rock tumbling kits for 2 of my granddaughters on Christmas… They used the kit items, then stopped the process🤔I think I may get myself a tumbler and try it. I live in the Sierra foothills of No CA and we HAVE SOME ROCKS! They are beautiful without a tumble; can’t imagine how awesome they would look after the whole process!’
you'd love the natural jasper formations you get on the east coast of australia. there are beaches where i pick up polished bright red stones that you could stick a price tag on and sell as-is. the sand and the water polish them for you, and the gently eroding cliffs reveal bands of jasper and quartz, even the occasional fossil.
You're going to need a bigger saw! For the crazy lace, you could probably have the best of both worlds. Make slabs out of the main body and leave some of the other shards or outer pieces large enough to polish.
Okay! Oh jeeze!! Oh man!! Well? Work on my jerp? Jeep! lol! Pull out the ole rock tumbler? Woj? Pull out tumbler? Humm? I know! It’s early Sunday morning and time enough to do both! Haha! My tumbler is a 70s throwback like myself! lol born in 60 so I win! Was passed down from my dad to older bro then passed to me so feeling a bit nostalgic I will dedicate this load of? Humm? Real old desert hunted and found red black and green glass pieces! Then I finish hooking up my jeeps new radiator 😊 thank you so much for sharing your love and adventures into unwrapping the oh so hidden beauties these kicked around treasures offer up! My first time seeing you but definitely not my last! I’m so tickled bright pink! Getting started now! P.S. I also have many of the grits and grains and polishers in original 70s and 80 s bottles as well as a shi..! Tun of polishing husks! lol. All better than what they have now. In my opinion 😊
Oh I am jealous lol. This was so exciting to see. I want these too! They are just so beautiful. I was thinking of how many wire wraps I could do just letting the rocks set how the wire wrap develops! Thank you so much for sharing such an exciting surprise!
I love rocks. Pretty sure I married one. Where do you go to order these kinds of rocks. How much should I pay for a stone sawand rock tumbler? Thank you! Your joy and excitement for rocks is palpable.
I've definitely spent more money for worse reasons, and honestly I may do something like this soon. I've finally got my tumblers set up and going again after moving last fall, so we'll see how these first couple of runs go. Seriously though, some of these are and/or are going to be absolutely gorgeous by the time you're done with them. Very good haul for the price, honestly. For the bigger pieces that you were stressing about whether to slab or cut up into tumbling sized pieces, honestly I'd say do both. Take two or three slabs from the parts with the most character and then chunk up the rest to throw in the tumbler. I mean, if you get into the first couple of cuts and it's just cool enough that you want more slabs with that patterning, then that's your call of course. You really don't know until you get in there. Either way, I can't wait to see how these turn out
Hey lady I was just wondering if you have picked the winner to your tumbled marbles yet? No?? Oh good! Whew! I’m the one with the story of the sweet, clumsy, crazy yellow lab named Bumper. Remember? The sweet lovable pup who had lost his “marbles” 😉😉😉😉
I have a thunder egg, that currently serves as a door stop. LOL! I need to find someone to cut it. Before I acquired it, someone cut a piece out and decided it was ugly. It might be brown, but I really want to see the pattern inside!!
Hearing another person get just as excited as I do for rocks is phenomenal.
Absolutely. Watching her videos always brightens my day and makes me feel almost normal, 😆
❤I love my rocks
That’s what I was thinking too!
I KNOW. RIGHT?
Your enthusiasm over rocks validates my own obsession. Maybe I’m not so crazy after all. 😊
So glad to hear I'm not crazy too. 😂
Absolutely not! Rocks are the best!
I feel like I finally have a family ❤. Rocks, Rock!! Lol
I found my tribe ❤😂
Just don't pray to them or any of that crazy stuff and you're good lol
First... I love your videos.
Second, for the crazy lace. Cut it first and then break off some pieces to tumble. I'm on my final day of tumbling Mexican Craze Lace Agate today... I can't wait.
That was my thought too.
the sound effects were an integral part of the viewing experience 10/10 would recommend
The best sound effects! What a beautiful bunch of rocks. I can't wait to see them either cut, cut, cut or tumbled. I looks like you made a great purchase. Who knew, a box of rocks.
Thank you so much! It’s going to be such a fun adventure these next several months!
Unbelievable! Makes me want to buy a bunch. Well worth it. Does anybody else notice that most women open packages with scissors while men use a knife?
as an enby i exclusively use pizza cutters
Haha you are so right-I never noticed that!
Well that’s because Women don’t go buy 47 knives they own kitchen knives that’s it
I'd use a house key... Or a knife if it was close by... assuming I don't use brute strength.
I use what is available and I am a female
OMG, the little rock with the face in the background is adorable. And i agree, the sound effects are the best! Ariel is the queen of rock hounds!
Haha aww thank you!!
I am excited but where is Part 2, so we can see the results??
Holy smokes, that crazy lace is amazing… my jaw is hanging open 😮in total awe!
Whatever you decide to do with it will be amazing I’m sure of that.
Thank you so much! It really is such a stunner!!
Those were some top notch sound effects! 🤣🤣🤣
Bahaha I’m glad you liked them 😂
I can see why you spent what you did! My heart was jumping in my chest seeing some of those!!!
Right!! It is going to be a pretty great next several months 🤣
I'm still going to buy $281 in rocks. You can't stop me.
Loved the giant crazy lace agate. Healing properties for crazy lace agate are soothing. Nice channel.
Thank you so much!
Ariel, love your craft and love your enthusiasm! I love rocks too!
You have some of the best agates and rocks! This last show $281.00 box was the Greatest!!!!! I wish I had so many of yours

Slab the crazy lace!! It's gorgeous!!❤❤
Totally agree!
Gorgeous!! I can’t wait to see the results! I hope you do slabs and tumble of the crazy lace.
Hi Ariel, this is my 1st time watching one of your videos. You are so cute and funny. The sound affects are "PRICELESS!" I moved to Arizona last June. I'm in love with how many different rocks are here.
I'm from Minnesota... I have been watching Agate Dad.

Of course! It’s an awesome hobby!
Great video, thanks for sharing! I really like the fine details on that crazy lace. Definitely take a couple of slabs!
For the crazy lace...do both. Cut down the middle and make a few slabs from each half...then tumble the remainder either as is, or cut them in half for four pieces to tumble.

Thanks, Linda
So beautiful!

Yes sliced up like you said on the one that had so many bands in it but thinner you could make a wind chimes with it

I just found your channel, and I must say. I am absolutely here for it. You are so much fun to watch.
Wow! Very beautiful rocks I'm very impressed, truly beautiful!

Great idea!
Why not do slabs on half of it and do half as small lumps tumbled! They are all gorgeous❤️
your last bag, I would take a couple and just polish the banded side because those are amazing, that is what I love about Mother Nature.
That’s a really good idea!
I think you did exactly the right thing and the results of what you’ve got in the post are fantastic and well worth the money. Already blown away with the beauty in the first bag 😍 now to finish the vid!👍👍

Right?! Rocks are awesome!
I would love to know, where do you usually buy these stones in bulk?
I super duper enjoy all of your vocalized ASMR, totally something that I would do 😂

Wow that is so awesome! Thank you!
So beautiful! Lucky girl. I hope you slice the big one then tumble it. Then decide if you want to make them smaller.
Crazy lace agate, slabs, and see if that works. Maybe two. Then tumble some too. so, both..if possible.
Definitely slabs for the crazy lace ❤. The pink Botswana agate is probably my favorite I'm a sucker for any type of banding
Big kick out of your excitement & enthusiasm about shipment slab cuts will be exciting enjoyed the video thanks
Thank you so much!
@@AgateAriel you are welcome sorry so late just enjoy your content. You make me smile and laugh watching your videos thanks
Best $281 ever spent! I can't wait to see how they turn out. I'm so excited for you!!
Thank you so much!
Where can I buy this box
Yes, who did you buy these from?
Good to see the Malawis again. 😇
Slab and stones. Use every teeny tiny inch. For the big lace. ❤
Hi, sorry for the question but where did you get your agates from?
Any update please
Can’t wait what to see what you do with them, great!
That was a fun video. You got a really nice assortment and great quality with all of them. I am drawn to Sarape jasper, so I really like that one a lot. I would slab it and the Mexican Crazy Lace or MCL for short. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Yes the sarape Jasper is really pretty!
Where did you buy the rocks from please and thank you
I would definitely slab the crazy lace. Some amazing rocks.
Another vote for slab!
Keep making videos! You have a wonderful, expresive on camera personality!
That crazy lace had every color in the rainbow in it! So gorgeous!
I wish someone hyped me up like this lady with her rocks
Bahaha this is a great comment 😆
I want to thank NVIDIA now having auto-HDR.
This looks amazing!
Crazy lace slabs.!!!!! It's most beautiful ❤
Another vote for slabs!
At 6:34 that one reminds me of the colors in a pastel sunrise, just gorgeous!
Bought rock tumbling kits for 2 of my granddaughters on Christmas… They used the kit items, then stopped the process🤔I think I may get myself a tumbler and try it. You're going to need a bigger saw! For the crazy lace, you could probably have the best of both worlds. Make slabs out of the main body and leave some of the other shards or outer pieces large enough to polish.
Oh that’s not a bad idea!!
Awesome! Where did you get them? Can’t wait to see what happens after you tumble them!
Right!! I cannot wait!! I got them from the Gem Shop!
@AgateAriel is that an online store
YES! Do you have a link you can share?! @@AgateAriel

That is awesome! It is all such a fun hobby!
Good video. Although I love to find them, to get a good selection of rocks you almost have to buy them. Thanks for taking us through your purchase.😎
Oh I love your haul!! The crazy lace you should do both a nice slab to capture as much as possible, and some small ones.
Where do you buy in bulk like this at?? ❤
very nice specimens - especially the crazy lace agate! now put them back in the box, and send them to me 😂
Haha finders keepers! 🤣
Oh I am jealous lol. This was so exciting to see. I want these too! They are just so beautiful. I was thinking of how many wire wraps I could do just letting the rocks set how the wire wrap develops! Thank you so much for sharing such an exciting surprise!
Where did you purchase these pls? So much fun!
It’s called The Gem Shop!
Oh my God, I just geeked out for this whole video like I was opening those bags!!! 🖤🖤🖤
I ordered rocks from The Rock Shed right after watching this - I am NOT disappointed!!!! I received great stuff!!!
I love rocks. Pretty sure I married one. Where do you go to order these kinds of rocks. How much should I pay for a stone sawand rock tumbler? Thank you! Your joy and excitement for rocks is palpable.
Those sound effects were really funny lol, I loved the tree agate!!!
Haha thank you!
Just tumbled my 1st batch. They turned out perfect!!
Definitely make that giant crazy lace into slabs I think it would be better that way so there is more surface area to see the beautiful banding
I've definitely spent more money for worse reasons, and honestly I may do something like this soon. I've finally got my tumblers set up and going again after moving last fall, so we'll see how these first couple of runs go. You really don't know until you get in there. Either way, I can't wait to see how these turn out
Ok, the ASMR… so calming, so much wow, Yass Kween! 😂😂🫶
The pink agates are my favorite! They look like jawbreakers!
you are a bundle of joy to watch - awesome box opening noises - i subscribed 1 second after making them LMAO !!!!
Haha love it!
Hey lady
I was just wondering if you have picked the winner to your tumbled marbles yet?
No?? Oh good!
Whew!
I’m the one with the story of the sweet, clumsy, crazy yellow lab named Bumper. Remember? The sweet lovable pup who had lost his “marbles”
😉😉😉😉
I haven’t! I am planning to wait one month from the post date then I will draw! Yes I loved your story about your lab!
Holy moly that's a beautiful agate!! Don't cut it in slabs!! Get polishing bits to put on drills and polish it as-is!😊
That sounds like a lot of work-but would be SO worth it!!
Great box of rocks and cool video friend
Thank you so much!
I have a thunder egg, that currently serves as a door stop. LOL! I need to find someone to cut it. Before I acquired it, someone cut a piece out and decided it was ugly. It might be brown, but I really want to see the pattern inside!!
Right! Ever since I got my slab saw, I have been cut crazy!
You inspired me to have my own mineral collection, and my collection is really cool so Ty so much!
If ya ever need any kentucky agate or more Brazilian we have them posted on our etsy shop also we are planning a dig for 1st of March!
I would slab the crazy lace and make some into smaller slabs to be tumbled and some to be cabbed.
The big pretty blue rock...i'd leave it in one piece and clear coat to keep it wet looking, then display in a case
I might just have to do that!
