The guy mentions it looks at the number of wipes of the wipers in terms of the AWD activation. This is not true. Generally, if the wipers are turned on for at least 2-3 minutes the AWD turns on. The AWD also activates if the outside temperature drops below 39*F, or if you activate the Autostick manual shifting mode. And it is great in the snow. I drove through some deeper snow with my 2011 Charger R/T AWD last week and it didn't skip a beat.

Does the 2005 Chrysler 300C AWD have the same rear wheel biased system as the Charger?

As much as I love my 300c its awd doesn't compare to my audi. Still love the car.

How would you compare 300C AWD vs Subaru? Looking to replace my subaru for a decent AWD.

Chrysler is in the stone age of AWD. Seriously-counting the number of wipes the wiper blades make to engage the AWD? My Subaru Full Time 4WD engages when the front tires slip. Nuff said.

and you show your ignorance with this statement. Subaru does not have 4wd they have awd, with a front wheel bias

Subaru started out with 4wd and front wheel drive. AWD is something that was introduced in the 90's

whisper count is just a part of the algorithm the computer use to determine if awd should remain on and stay on given outside conditions. wheel slip activation is something common to both companies.

Jeremiah Herstrom Subaru sucks. Cheap crap. Reliability is not what you think. Never had an issue with Chrysler for 30 years.
