Another good video and nice to see someone using the Sabre with such facility. Personally I finally upgraded my Sabre for the Scorpius, reasoning that it had the same solo pilot dps with the added advantage of the turret when having another player. Only time and the inevitable rebalance of the Scorpius will tell if this was a wise move.

Yeah, I've been thinking very much on the same when it comes to the Scorpius. The Scorpius is sorta what I wanted out of the Super Hornet originally way back too with the two people in tandem. Too bad Medium fighters are all pretty much stuck in limbo waiting for some changes.

So after some more testing, I have to say the Scorp is not nearly as capable in atmo as the Sabre or even the Vanguard in terms of utilizing yaw. The Scorp can definitely put out a lot more sustained damage, but the Sabre is avoiding damage in these situations where the Scorp struggles and takes some hits. It's definitely another story with the Scorp being crewed though.

I finally got a Sabre tonight. I’m on the fence if I want to keep the panthers, or or switch to laser cannons in staggered mode. I’m not planning to do much pvp with the Sabre…. I have a Gladius for that

I find the Sabre is better in atmo for yaw at speed, but yeah, the Gladius is better overall right now on the PVP side.
I would just add some cannons if you don't plan on PVPing with it - and maybe 1 distortion cannon as they seem to be quite effective. Gives slightly more DPS than a Gladius cause of the extra weapon, and it will disable some targets making them even easier to apply DPS.

what sticks are you using?

I am using a Constellation Delta on the left, and a Constellation Alpha on the right from Virpil. They are both on WarBRD bases. The Delta is tilted to give more natural movement for vertical thrust.
