- Like humans, guinea pigs have different personalities, so here is a mini series to introduce our girls! The third one is the eldest, Dumpling. She's the last one to join the family. Our pink nosed detective was adopted from Critter Corral Guinea Pig Rescue. She has cute wobbly eyes and likes to hide! Dumpling is shy, but she'd like to make friends. GuineaDad yeah my piggy has to have salt “baths” and since the water is warm she lays down and she loves it it’s the cutest thing ever

Okay I have six piggies and I know how happy there supposed to be and this is over line there just way to happy
I have three piggies. Our eldest is an American shorthair named Cookie who is really shy around anyone except me. Then we have an Abby named Chai who is totally a momma's girl and loves going outside to graze. Then we have our youngest; another Abby named Coconut. She's still a little unsure of herself and hasn't picked a favourite hooman yet but she really loves high up places (namely people's shoulders and hiding in their hoods).

@@GuineaDad Have yours learned your schedule? Mine have learned that the sound of my desk light turning off means I'm headed to bed and they're about to get a hay refill. They have glared and wheeked at me until I've done it too.
@@MommaCavy i have 5 guinea pigs peanut, pumpkin and baby are all 2 years old and lewis is about 5 months and Louise is 8 months and they are all a bit shy i just got them all a few months ago but lewis loves me the most he lets me pet him sometimes and he loves head scratches

Is celery good for guinea pigs or is it more like cucumbers where there's not much nutrients?
celery is ok, but just be sure to chop it up 1/2 inch or so before serving. Even though celery has higher Ca:P ratio, it is within safe range. sugar is slightly higher and vit C slightly lower for salary. So, I would say I feel slightly safer giving more cucumber than celery - but both are really fine. The vegetable that I recommend to every guinea pig owner is bell peppers.

@@GuineaDad yeah they are sisters and they love each other even though they fight sometimes. One day they will be fighting over hay and the other they will be snuggling together. I also love your hay and fleece!

Ik I’m late 😣 I’ve been busy. But, I’ve introduced S’mores and Oreo in the other two videos now I’m gonna introduce my last guinea pig. Rocky road but Rocky for short. We call him that because he has had a rocky life and I don’t know much about his life but I do know his previous home. My aunt doesn’t have much money at all and rents out a room to people to earn money. A couple lived there and had rocky then they left one day and told my aunt they will be back for him. But, they never came back... My aunt for weeks was trying to take care of him but didn’t know the first thing about guinea pigs. She gave him lettuce everyday but no kibble or hay. Rocky got barked at by a dog all day long, had no hiddie to hide in. He tried to hide under his bedding to get away from the cruel world. But, he didn’t even have a lot of bedding he would be soaked in his own pee in a small glass tank. Then we found out about the guinea pig and took him in because I had two others. He has never lived with other guinea pigs and gets super vicious with others. He lives in a bigger cage but he’s by himself. He doesn’t like me still after several several months. He doesn’t really like kibble but he loves hay and veggies. I just don’t know what to do and might give him to a rescue center or a different family...
I want one one of the liners but they are too expensive to buy 😔
There is some upfront cost, but it will save money in 3 months :)

@@GuineaDad Always! Can never get enough of your three girls, you and your friends/co-workers, and your unique designs and stuff for the piggies! I love them so much! Your music is always sweet and fun too. Love their commentary as well. They are just too cute. I was so happy today to be able to participate in the livestream. Telework is good for something! When I am at the office I can never watch, but now that I am home for awhile...yay piggies!

I have three guinea pig girls at the moment. I don't have a plan yet, but might adopt more in the future.
