Get in contact with a service member or someone who can search your record. Once their simply show them your files. It should show citizenship and ssc AND identity. Then get in touch with a friend to sign for residency or you can always go to a homeless shelter. They should help you.
Please someone write back, I’m 18 n basically been bouncing houses, I’m trying to get a job but the not having an ID prevents me, I just this year got ahold of my birth certificate and I have my social, realistically I don’t have a set address but my mom said I can use her addy and she gave me 1 bill with the date 08/11/2003 they said it was in valid, why? So I showed up with a birth certificate a social and 1 piece of mail it’s all I got, dropped out in 9th grade I have no school records and not they they would even be valid it’s been more then 2 years I’ve been out of school I need another form of identification besides the birth certificate and social but I looked to many lists of things I can bring that count and I have none! What am I supposed to do ? Are they just gonna keep declining me? Well they decline me my ID because I don’t have a steady address if I admitted that to them I don’t understand.
If you still don’t have it you can fill out a Texas Residency Affidavit form saying you don’t have an address. Contact some family members and see if they have your shot records or some sort of medical document. Bring your mom the next time you go and have her show proof she is your parent. That should be enough. If not try different dmv in other areas eventually someone will be willing to work with you.
If finger printed before entering school ! An unfortunately if you ever been to jail . An if you ever had an id or driver license before they often make u put your thumb print at the moment yet while standing personally infront of them having no car no job no ability to go gather all those forms needed for this id. Also no address either . An it's all to verify who u are in Texas an where u are . But seriously we could simply put or thumb on their laser reader thing like they require is to do before finishing the process of first getting the Id. But unfortunately they can't do that to prove I am at least who I say I am. No unfortunately they can't. And it's sad because they can they just for some reason haven't gotten to that phase in evolution in their own system or process yet. Imagine being homeless no address no medical record no money no car no phone an having all sorts of issues while standing in their office realizing how trivial this sounds to normal every day people. Is it going to take a Texas rep going threw this to force this change. Have a nice day an welcome to Texas .

Its been 8 long years. I have no documents of anything. Ill never hsve an identity for the rest of my life.
