I hate to say but most people take a scan for online applications. Maybe look thru your files. Also it's only $1.75 additional fee if your audit number is unreachable
For those who have jobs, I highly recommend asking your manager if they have a copy of your ID. Because most of them ask for your ID during your interview. Which means they most likely have a copy of it. I thought I was screwed because I didn’t know my ID number, but I asked my manager if he had a copy of it and he did. And I was finally able to take a picture of it and finally order a new ID CARD!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels in limbo after losing their license. The easiest solution appears to be to revoke your citizenship and go to Mexico and cross into Texas illegally... new phone, new license, whatever you want.

Just worked perfectly. Easy. Accurate. Printed out temp. Nice job Texas DPS. (I had the necessary numbers because I always make a copy and keep it with other personal documents)

You can't replace your license online if this is the case. You will need to go down to the DPS office in person.

I did mine online one week ago after it rejected it many days before. Just make sure you are putting in the right audit number. Don’t put o for 0😅
