Im addicted to this channel, yes I’ve made soap in the past but never with the colour additives you use ,they are beautiful . I’m so greatfull for this introduction to them..x
I love the soap, nice lather too. I love using tussah silk in my soaps, it feels silky too but, you have to dissolve it in the lye water as you're making it. I put sugar in my all my soaps as well, helps with lather. I simply love milk soaps, you get nice lather too!
@@tellervo. Hi Sara! What I like to do, is lightly "wash" my bars after I cut them, to remove the soda ash from the tops, so it is a little more than just rinsing the tops of the whole batch with hot water, but I think it is less prep time than using a steamer, especially if you do not have a lot of space for extra gadgets or are trying to minimalize. The extra little bit of rubbing with water, patting gently to wipe away the excess or small bubbles (you can also spritz w/ alcohol), then setting out to air dry, will give bars a polished look & nice glossy shine!

What's their significances? And how do you decide how much of lye good with how much of other acids and oils? Any rule you follow, i mean you check it's pH altogether or trial and error and found the recipes? Please reply. I wanted to know these...
It’s amazing how much lather you get without sugar or milk! I cannot wait to try this recipe. I tried corn silk before but couldn’t get it to dissolve, so gave up. Thank you for incredible content!!
Try dissolving corn silk by you adding fresh corn silk chopped up (with scissors) first in distilled water and stir it and let it sit for 5 min. Then add lye all at once to the distilled water. It’s important that you add lye to corn silk soaked distilled water. This would melt and dissolve most fiber even tough one.
Hello again! May i ask if you also make cold process shampoo bars? It would be amazing if you also make videos about them 🥺 i just love your way of teaching us 💜
It was great seeing you flick the cocoa butter accidentally put the bucket. I try so hard to not make huge messes (only doing melt and pour at moment, but ready to venture to cold process and hot process) but I always end up making messes, and you seem so organized and clean while making soaps . Which is my ultimate goal. So seeing the cocoa butter flick all over made me realize we all get messy sometimes haha

Tussah silk is good too
However, milk soaps are skin loving and ever so nourishing to the skin. Especially, if you have extremely dry skin and/or eczema.
