After ChatGPT 4 came out. When I'm searching for a specific audio gear or the best top 5. I haven't used google, sweetwater or any audio company website to look for it. I ask Chat GPT to do it for me. It litteraly searches the web or the website and can even provide links.
It's really a game changer when it comes to browsing/looking for anything on the internet today. I really love this game though, hella fun! LJ really knew what he was doing btw! Good choices for less money.

LJ made the wiser purchases, hands down. Devon keeps trying to sell his Atlantis Mic as a wise purchase, but I would have chose the Slate Digital mic also, to free up funds for purchasing a bunch of other stuff. Plus the Slate Digital microphone is a very versatile beast. Again, LJ for the Win!

Yeah, LJ gamed the system on this one. The microphone pack alone wins the show. The DAW is iffy cos I'm a Pro Tools guy but FL gets the job done, so I can't say anything. Also, Devvon was smart as hell to go the subscription route, "$30 cash!" like a boss! Both had merits and spit great knowledge. Great episode.

As a guy running basically the studios they created, I can attest to the quality they are speaking of. I’m running a ML-1 into the WA-73 and then into the MBox Studio. My vocals have never sounded better. I just need a compressor on the way in and I’m gucci yuheame.

If you look at both lists, LJ's list is quite impressive especially being with an even lower budget. His list literally consists of what's needed in a studio. First episode was a fun topic but LJ won he'd be able to rent his studio out to producers and engineers with same quality but devvon's mic choice is dope but the slate is a hell of a choice as well no doubt considering the emulation choices which give a range of mics to different artist genres being tracked
I think LJ got this one, givin the era of music we in, alot of kids will go towards fl from the jump. plus idk why the kids care about quality as much. they cook up on whatever.

I'm an Ableton guy but LJ's set is more well rounded. Sorry Devon,, you got some quality stuff but you don't even have headphones and a controller. I feel like that's pretty necessary for an entry level studio.

This was so great. informative and really fun!!!. If the marginal quality is very slim than LJ one because you get so much more for your money. If there is a significant difference in quality then I would definitely go with Devon it would be hard to tell without a comparison between the mics and the monitors. Kali audio has a lot of praise in the audio community and so does Adam monitors. So this could simply be a matter of taste. Either way this is a great idea 4 a show awesome job!!!
