  • I traded my boat in today for my waders and hit the surf. I'm throwing a 1/8oz jig head with a 4'' curly tail made by Saltwater Assassin. It is paired up with a 7' HMG ML with a 2500 Diawa DG series. It's very simple, I throw it out as far as I can and bounce it off of the bottom until I fell a solid strike.
Tight lines, good luck to everyone and hopefully you've learned something by watching this video. Thank you for watching as always. If you haven't subscribed, please consider it. I'm a handful away from 1,000 subscribers.

Nice trip, I've never caught any in the surf, looks fun.
It's been a few months since I've been to H🐓, no keepers only shorts, any word on some keepers showing up

3-4 wks ago it was amazing. But nothing but shorts since. I figured this bit of cold weather and fronts we had coming in would fire them up. Nothing.

It was good. Water was clean too. Idk why but I never found one keeper. Literally 25 about 13 3/4”.
