Thank you for the tutorial they look delicious . I usually make mine with the salt fish . But I love this idea because I you can control the salt in the beginning instead of boiling the salt out of the saltfish. Also you are using fresh fish . I love it I will make this soon . Thank you guys 😀😀

Yes you can use either of those two.

is it ok if i use salt fish instead?
Yes but you would have to remove most of.the salt by either soaking overnight and changing the water a couple of times or boiling, or both.

Can I use a milkfish instead of the fish you're using?
I am not familiar with the milkfish but it looks similar to the fish we used and should be ok.

How long to let the fish to sit in the hot water?
I would say about 20 minutes, just check when it is soft like we showed in the video. We did not time ours ,we just put it there and did all the other stuff and by that time the fish was ok.
I js finish make tht but I use cassava instead of potato because I dong have potato at the moment😂😂

🙂Actually I don't like dhal and rice much, not a rice guy but I am doing recipes and it so happens that it goes with dhal and rice so I have to mention that. Come on over I can make you some Dhal and rice to go with it if you like too. ( I won't be having any though)😁😁😁SORRY.
