Wait what? Not compatible with KDP? I stopped after that. Did I understand correctly? I'm so confused. Just purchased canva hoping it would help. New to KDP and newer to canva. Total newbie. Totally confused but determined because my book is good and it's finished. Except for all this which seems to be more difficult than the writing process itself. Maybe I should pay that company 6k to help me.? Nah I got this. Please help!
No need to pay that much to get help.... Canva can be used to create the images in your book and create your cover, but you shouldn't put your book into it because you can only export as a PDF. So create the images/diagrams in cavan and then put them in your book using word/google docs. Google docs allows you to export your book in the epub format. You've got this!
If you want to do Kindle; keep it in the Google doc. Canva is great for the PDF format... So just create the images in Canva, and put them in the Google doc before exporting
If you don't want to use ads, then content marketing or social media marketing is the way to go. You will need a website to collect payments or emails for your ebook though
Hello! This is very helpful as my sister and I are putting an eBook together. Our eBook is a short one with an Introduction, Chapters 1-8 and a Conclusion we know we can put 200 words on each page, but from there to make it seem like there's a lot on the page we are blowing up the words to font size 29 in Canva. Are we doing something wrong or should we leave it? We're confused because we're not sure if once published it'll look weird on someone's tablet. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
If it's looking off in the pre-view; it's most likely going to be off in the end product..... I don't know why it would blow up the font when you don't want it too..... I'd suggest creating a new page and re-adding the text element and re-pasting to see if that fixes the issue
How do you copy and paste onto canva your writing? I was doing the writing in pages on my iPad and copied it but it won’t paste onto canva e book. What can I do please?
An ebook around how to care for your pet, how to bring in an adopted Dog/Cat into your home (what's different than buying a new born). How to play with your dog, etc... Hope that helps.... Many of your shorts could become the concept for an ebook!

Google docs actually has a way to export into the epub format.... mostly plain text and pasting the images centered

Oh, that is something you'll need to check the TOS for. You can use the pro account for client work; but I don't know how they feel about Fiverr

You can upload your text in a pdf doc or copy paste manually
Why not upload your pdf basically for the text?
The formatting is rough to deal with even if it's uploaded directly
