Came to this video through your LinkedIn post. I am saving this for my clients. This is one of the most common issues I have seen in clients' accounts. Thanks.
Hello again David, great stuff. Just thought I'd suggest for your sake down the road that having a class trigger sounds like a WAY better idea than using the text. That way, if the client wants to change a number or any text-related thing, you won't have to change anything in Tag manager. Or, is there something bad about using class names as triggers?
@@andrewschaeffer4438 yes that can work but you need to test them in the Tag Assistant to see if they always fire. I've had issues using other trigger settings before and always found the test worked best. It doesn't take much changing in Google Tag Manager anyway. All you need to do is the change the number on the call trigger.
@@david_fitzmaurice This has been working perfect for me: Click - All Elements -> Some Clicks -> Click classes contains [name of class without "." in front] and Click - Just Links (same setup above worked for me)
Hello sir, great video everthing works fine except the button for to send the lead form is bugging on my website because there are two trackings, the yes cookie and the header and body code, do you know how to fix this? Thank you!
@@ServiceAdHuntif you have the cookies tag done on Google Tag Manager then you can deactivate the cookies plugin. Sometimes the cookies plugin can cause issues on websites
Great video! found it through linkedin as well. Question - Does Google Analytics pick up all the things done in Tag manager, or would I need to configure that as well to show me data about tag manager?
@@andrew_schaeffer Thanks Andrew, Google Analytics has to be setup differently. It's not too hard to setup as you can use the same triggers. You just need to add events in Google Analytics and then link it up with Google Tag Manager. I'll do a video about that too.
This is an excellent content. First time ever I am using google tag manager and I have done it. All the tag were fired. in terms of lead form I filled it and send it and its fired. so my question is as long as fired its okay?

What an amazing video man. Thank you so much. One quick question : if the status stay inactive, what should we do to make it active ?
@@hbh1081 thank you. Which status is inactive form you?

@@Jahangir-v6c Thanks, glad you found it helpful.
Did you set up a thank you page and redirect the contact form once someone presses send on it?
Yes, I set up and redirected on Wordpress
In your video 36:30 instead of changing the url, I just filled the form and send it and the tag fired
And also what amazing is that you are helping us for free of cost.
Also if you can make a video of app conversion tracking. Thank you
