My art teacher did something like that! She let us pick our seats and most of the kids in our class socialize AND work and it's a big room and a small class so it's not that loud, but there's this group of senior girls who only talk super loud all the time and my art teacher kept threatening to give them assigned seats and after like a month of threatening she FINALLY gave only them assigned seats, but literally 2 days later they were back together and my art teacher said a week later "if you keep talking I'm gonna separate you." I hated my teacher earlier this year. Like, a STRONG here. Everyone liked her, but she hated me and told us to shut up SO MANY TIMES! I like to doodle sometimes, and she will show my doodles up on the screen, give us a lecture, and make me explain what all of them mean. That all changed yesterday. She retired, (without a warning,) and our new teacher is Mrs. Holliday. She is the nicest teacher I've EVER had. She never tells us to shut up, she tells us to calm down or speak quietly. She's willing to help all of her students, and she admired my doodles at the end of the day. She's funny, may seem like a lot for one day, but I never knew what I was doing without her, honestly.

In elementary school 4th, and 5th grade when my teachers were teaching us cursive, they would always say, "you're gonna have to write in cursive all the time in middle school, and highschool," I'm in the 7th grade and we never have to use cursive -_-

Obama Bin Laden there is a free program called dustball and a paid one (grammarly) that check for plagiarism that I know of. If the teachers require students to send in the essay through email then I'm pretty sure that they will use these to detect plagiarism

I hated my teacher earlier this year. Like, a STRONG here. Everyone liked her, but she hated me and told us to shut up SO MANY TIMES! I like to doodle sometimes, and she will show my doodles up on the screen, give us a lecture, and make me explain what all of them mean. That all changed yesterday. She retired, (without a warning,) and our new teacher is Mrs. Holliday. She is the nicest teacher I've EVER had. She never tells us to shut up, she tells us to calm down or speak quietly. She's willing to help all of her students, and she admired my doodles at the end of the day. She's funny, may seem like a lot for one day, but I never knew what I was doing without her, honestly.

My elementary school teachers said middle school teachers do this.
My middle school teachers said high school teachers do this.
Now, my high school teachers say college professors do this.

My teacher has caught me plagiarizing (she said the paper is better than my normal quality), yet I denied it so nothing happened.
Obama Bin Laden there is a free program called dustball and a paid one (grammarly) that check for plagiarism that I know of. If the teachers require students to send in the essay through email then I'm pretty sure that they will use these to detect plagiarism
We turn our papers in electronically to a program that detects plagiarism. And it catches every little thing! Apparently, I plagiarized the word "and".
I was told they did that in elementary school. I never found out if it was true. they said "you'll fail that subject" in high school and "get kicked out of college." What are the chances of it anyway. :/
at my university, we have Turnitin, where you submit everything and it scours like all this different stuff and gives you a similarity %
