I was born in 1987 and first watched Pulp Fiction in 1995. You're obviously a child, or at least have the mental capacity of one, judging by your stupid comments and immature attacks on strangers from the safety of your mom's basement. Get a life, loser.
Amanda Plummer's epic threats as the introduction to Mirsilou will have to go down as one of the best use of sound and editing in film. I love the way it freeze frames just before she stops yelling and the music kicks in.
My theory is The reason he freeze frame before she finish talking is she originaly say "every last of you motherfuckers" (watch end scene) i thought about it for years !!! and i guess tarantino know (cause he is a genius ) that for the intro you need "every motherfucking last one of ya" Its just the way a brilliant mind work !!!
+ThatBigFail OMG. I wish I could re experience it for the first time. Ive scene it a million times, but I watched it first when I was much younger. Almost wish TODAY was the day I would experience it first.
Tarantino is the master of opening scenes that draw you in. From the breakfast conversation in Reservoir Dogs, to this frenetic scene/credits, to the interrogation in Basterds. Right away you know the tone of the movie and you know it’s going to be damn good. My personal favourite though is black and white dead bride. That scene is another level of intense.
Saw this movie when I just started high school and I was blown away. Just from the intro, it was something so different and interesting apart other films I've seen. The build up to the opening credits. Tasty
Saw a midnight screening of this masterpiece around 2001 or 02. Place was packed with that "midnight movie" kind of crowd. When "Misirlou" kicked in, people were on their feet cheering. When Jungle Boogie kicked in, it was like a scene from Soul Train; whole place was dancing. Best movie-going experience ever.
Tarantino is not only the master of dialogue but the music he picks for his movies are always inspired. I love how he usually doesn't pick the most obvious overplayed songs that were hits.
If you think this scene is cool just remember that this movie doesn't have the best opening scene, but the best ending scene of all the movies ever made
I was born in the year 1994... the year with all of the amazing movies: Pulp Fiction, The Shawshank Redemption, The Mask, Forrest Gump, Leon the Professional, Natural Born Killers, The Lion King... they don't make movies like this anymore and it's sad really.
They´re going to play this in the classic movie theatre in Rotterdam. Next month. On my birthday. Guess where I´ll be celebrating my birthday. (and if anyone could tell Patricia Arquette, that'd be lovely).
one of best intros in the history of film

That's because movies nowadays don't have amazing openings that gets you pumped up watching ít.
