Super informative video and appreciate you sharing. I'm in the process of removing the back row seatbelts on my 2019 Forester. Turning the car into a mini camper, so I have no need for the back trim/seats/etc. I noticed there are similar air bag modules for the rear seat belts as well. My question is -- if I removed the rear seat belt modules entirely and didn't replace them, would it impact airbag sensors for the rest of the car (driver + front passenger)?
Thanks for the guidance. My dog ate mine. I feared triggering the air bag till I found this video. I'll probably disconnect the battery to be extra careful.
damn hope my seat belt isn't that hard. I can't get my seat belt tight. it's to not want to retrack any more. the shoulder part almost slips of my shoulders.
I'm almost scared to wear one after getting hit by one wearing it. What happened to the old kind that only stop you from going forward instead of jerking back at lightning speed. Seems pointless
How do you put the middle seat belt adjuster button back on if you took it off
Would this be helpful for a 2014 Subaru crosstrek as well ?

If you take your seatbelts out say to do a harness. With the seat belt plug unplugged will this cause an airbag light to stay on ?

Sounds like the internal springs busted - probably just wear and tear. If you decide to do it on your own then I hope this video helps.
@@DIYCarHunters yep some say Subaru replaced there, well others say they had to replace it out of there own pocket. mine is a 2012 impreza premium.
Same problem for me
