Tyson always threw a right to the body then the uppercut .... connected everytime !!
This is the best and easiest block ive seen to perform thanks gabriel, common sense and no wasted movement which is super important under pressure
Wouldn’t recommend this for boxing though only MMA because in boxing your body is wide open and boxers would most likely aim for your body if they see you doing that.
Nah i don't like the elbows off the ribs, if I saw that I'd go in and rip an uppercut as high up under the armpit as I could where the upper rib is
Thank you bro very helpful
Short but good thanks
HOW TO BEAT THIS BLOCK ?
Don't know if this is a joke cause I've never heard anyone ask a question about beating a block before but I think a nice body shot will do the work.
If it's hard enough to make them drop their hands, you can immediately counter with a hook or jab to the face but I think it's hard to do against the phily shell defense
Idk that much, I don't box. This is just what I learned from watching so many breakdowns
@@remyhavoc4463 thanks . I was asking because in some martial arts . U counter blocks with arm deflection to create an opening . But i dont no how they do it in boxing
@@newtypehuman Oh, I think some boxers still do arm deflection. Floyd, Pacquiao and Canelo is what comes to my mind when they do it
In defense, Floyd is definitely who I analyze for what I think defines boxing
@@newtypehuman Are you talking about the “catch and shoot” in boxing?
