That I-64 rest stop and the hunt club are conveniently accessible from Lancaster via the little traveled back roads that go through West Point. Also, West Point is a nearby place on the York where the guy could have anchored his boat. Given Wilmer's background, he's a pretty good fit for the Phelps-Lauer murderer. I always thought the Knobling-Edwards case was the outlier because of it obviously being a shooting. Since that is the case that has been solved, it seems like there's a good chance that all of the CP murders were done by the same guy/guys.
