Seeing Liam swagger up the tunnel made me feel 20.
Feels like Liam singing with The Stones Roses and John playing with Oasis. Sounds like Manchester. In other words, it is just great.
Still Stone Roses, you can't replace Noel Gallagher because he has a trademark sounds of Oasis, John Squire is great guitarist but you still hear Stone Roses, You can Put Liam to replace Ian Brown or you can put him with Paul McCartney to play some Beatles tribute

No way. Stones Roses are great but there are thousand bands in the world (that is a very big place) which could be considered as better than the Stone Roses. The Beatles are among them. But this is my taste. You have yours and I respect it. By the way, this type of comparative thinking is something a don't like so much. Also, the mixing engineer who mixed this song is genius! He managed to put Liam's voice in a space of its own despite all the busy parts of the song and with a magic touch. This is nothing but an amazing collaboration. As usual, Liam's voice has great attitude and confidence.

John Squire deserves this recognition, one of the greatest guitarists of an entire generation but sadly unknown to many due to The Stone Roses dramatic rise and sudden fall in the early 90's.

John really looks like he's having a blast with Liam. And why shouldn't he. Liam is one of our best frontman in the last 25 years. So excited for this. Squire a guitar God.🙏
Ian Brown looked cool but his voice is atrocious. I saw the Stone Roses at Glasgow Green (a gig Brown cites as one of their best) and I couldn't believe how off key he was. The rest of the band were amazing. I remember wandering out of the tent mid gig and just taking photos for a while. I later blagged a way back to their hotel and spoke to Mani and Reni, and got a shot of Brown in a lift doing his standard monkey face of the period.
I have a roll of black and white prints of that day, stuck in a bag with diaries from my twenties which I'm somehow scared to open. I guess it's because I remember the gist of how I felt then, and how disappointed my young self would be with me now. It's all about courage. I knew that then and I know that now, but I still fail to be courageous.
