What I love is how happy John seems to be with Liam ,it really shows . Never seen him with this much bounce. I think it coz there is no real pressure like the Roses. Love the dynamic duo though. Brilliant. Liam is the best front man we have had in a long time . And Squire is a guitar God. 🙏

Whall John can get that guitar to sound like it’s playing & sounding so sweet that it’s just incredible how many different sounds he gets. It’s got a funky sound also with that groove rock sound, it is so unique to Squire that you have to say it sounds Mega. The song flows perfectly. Liam sounds Great. His voice just keeps rocking along the whole track. Top work Lads. 🙌✌️🙌
Great album, a modern classic, all the tunes stand up really well. You can see past influences, great collaboration. “Make it up as you go along”, “I’m so bored” and “mother natures song” - brilliant 👌🏽
Some good tunes on this album…Mother Nature Song is my fav, but this is a great uplifting song, well done John. Next album, let’s have you going full blown Second Coming era Les Pauls and Fender Twins cranked right up
I love it of course(the album), but tonally everything feels all up front for the whole record. Like it was all recorded in one sitting…sort of was. So, for record two I’m hoping they go more John Leckie era and create a more blissful technicolor Mersey ride ala The Stone Roses first album…instead of the coke fueled adder of Second Coming and all the Zep stomp Hendrix swamp riffs. Can get a bit cheesy. Focus on songs and production for round two.
Cool. Sounds very Rolling Stones 60s era too with some of the soloing and that piano sound. A perfect fusion of Beatles beat and Rolling Stones swagger
