Some of the features are already there at least a couple of updates ago. Like the "Put your hands on your steering warning" has been flashing on the top for a long while. IMHO the nagging is already quite frequent. I don't know how they can make it even more frequent.
Mid-drive route changes is nice for long drives too. I commute about an hour, and the options when I start the drive can be...interesting... so being able to swap as I go has been nice to keep FSD from trying to make weird exits.
I have a MYLR 2023 just got it last week and I can’t find any of these features and in the software is says that is up to date do I have to active it something to see the reverse parking or those features?

I called them this tuesday and asked for help, got told it was a known issue. The next day they called me back ant informed me they had implemented a hotfix, so now I am in control of the vipers. Happy days
This is my first car with auto wipers and yea, they’re not great, but I wouldn’t call them bad either. The one time they did start wiping for no reason, I turned them off then turned them back on 10 seconds later and they stopped. I will say though it’s pretty obvious why they suck. The only way it could ever work reliably is if it had an IR or other way to light the camera compartment. Without that it’ll never get truly good. It’s quite obvious it’s a light issue as I’ve noticed in moderate rain the auto wipers go off when street or traffic lights hit the area, but otherwise the rain is pretty much invisible. I certainly didn’t realize there was that much rain until light hit the windshield.
I just bought a Model 3 and am disappointed that there is only the glove box USB that I can plug my flash drive into to play music files from. The other "USB ports" are only to charge and don't input data. I know before June 2023 that there was a work around with a part one could order and pop the panel out to find wires to connect, but from what I understand, after June 2023 Tesla stopped putting the wires in... So... am I stuck or does someone have a solution?
Things they should have fixed. On FSD about 3 or 4 updates they changed something that now causes the car to want to turn into the left or right turn lane when you are going straight. Wipers, light rain goes nuts and full speed, heavy rain can be slow or sometimes it about right. Would be nice if they summon that require manual control working on Telsa Vision. Auto would be cool, but just being able to put in and out of tight spot would be nice. Nagging is worse and seems really bad at night. I got the update before our most recent trip and at night it wanted to know I was there. During the day, it's not as bad. FSD still has trouble with some turns, stops, goes crazy, why because they haven't fixed the issue. For me the issue is on a right turn the car goes right over the right lane line before the turn. Something no human would do. It's hard for the car to make the turn correctly. If they stayed in the lane and made the turn it would be easier. One thing I like is that I didn't know FSD would do is see Speed Humps and slow down going over them, works well. Nice video!
I've seen some folks in various forums say yes, you can stop it from nagging. BUT most folks say blocking the camera will cause a forced disengagement and a strike getting issued.
Also for me. Did a long drive yesterday. Nags seemed normal to me with a hand on the wheel but with sunglasses nags were almost non existent. Scroll wheel still works to clear the nags too.
Make sure you have wifi at your home or where it is parked and go to the software screen. You should have gotten something. If not, service personnel can push it out, but they claim they cant. A mobile service guy smiled and forced an update when he was fixing a taillight that had moisture in it. If you use Tesla insurance, get a dashcam of some sort because the Safety Score system will ding you for actions of other drivers or I have had collision alerts from my parked motorhome when pulling up to back in.
Thanks for this review...my Autopilot stopped working after the update. Now I have to wait a week before Tesla Service Dept takes a look at it. I hope everyone else has a better experience than I've had. Happy Holidays to me, right? Haha
i dont know why they wont add an option to include the pillar cameras. Even if it takes up more storage adding two more camera feeds just give us the option! i use an aftermarket 1tb samsung ssd in the glovebox anyway
Just got my update yesterday I read where you can turn off auto wipers when using AP or FSD now I haven’t tried it yet Also I was sure we could search by chargers size before too 🤷♂️
Note: You can display the calendar app now by pressing the time on the display avoiding the need to use the app screen. When I wear my prescription sunglasses, the internal camera is defeated and I can look at the display and/or look away as long as I want to. Other owners have found the same thing. Holiday update didn't change anything.
Tesla needs to make the DashCam feature a REAL dashcam. It should record until the device is full and lay out the data in a usable way. We have all of this hardware and still dont have the ability to pull up older data that can help fight a redlight camera or ticket. It is a real shame. I bet they do it to prevent disputes of the Safety Score events that are generating them lots of extra money for their Insurance product.
I think this new update some what broke my system, its not displaying correctly when i try to park now, I keep getting weird grey and block blocks and smudges where the objects use to show. Not sure what to do to fix this.
Tesla has always aimed to have the entire fleet updated by christmas plus they sent out emails last night. So if you don’t have it, you should be getting it soon.
Top right in the map if you press the map 4 icon appear on the top right and one of them is the shape of earth. If you have premium connectivity it should activate

Yeah, i have a camera cover and it was amazing for normal AP but useless with Beta. Actually tried it a few days ago and the car acted like it was having a stroke the second I turned it on.
I’m still struggling to understand why Tesla fans keep raving about Tesla’s tech. From everything I’ve seen, it sucks. Ever since 2016, every car I’ve owned has had full 360 camera view, plus top down view which literally looks like you have a drone camera flying over you. Tesla just now introduced some really janky fake 360 thing that seems to be terrible. Every car I’ve owned has had parking sensors that are accurate to within millimeters. All of my cars since 2016 have fully parked themselves, and my current car will pull in and out of parking spots using the key fob or app. My car has Highway Drive Assist level 2 (same as Tesla) and I can take my hands off the wheel for around 5 minutes before it bothers me, and although it monitors my eyes, it has never once bothered me for looking at the screen. I also get OTA updates (even though Tesla owners think they’re the only ones who get them - LOL), I can pull up a live view of my car’s cameras from anywhere in the world, my auto-wipers work perfectly, etc. etc. - and guess what? None of this costs me a penny extra - it’s all just included. I guess if you’re coming from a Honda Civic maybe Tesla’s tech is impressive, but compared to any true luxury car, it’s not up to par - not even close.
As owner of europe MY 2023, I can confirm that new high-fidelety park assit doesn't do shit. It's still a guess game, because it doesn't show distance to obsticles in centimeters like it used to on cars with ultrasound sensors. Tesla getting worse. I will buy other EV car in future.

I agree Tesla auto windshield wipers suck. So bad! I use manual mode 99% of the time. I wish they would address soon
They're not perfect but I don't think they're terrible. Had my M3 for a month and I was expecting them to be worse.
You were missing the biggest feature of them all. You can now turn your Vipers of, even when you are using cruise control.

It’s such a disservice for those who bought enhanced AP or FSD. Never buy them, waste of money with current update. It’s pretty much useless now.

I have a 2015 and I got my update 4 days ago. I can turn off 911 call option from my safety screen

Even though my 2018 M3 is kinda dated , I feel that alot of this will apply .
So now it's best to disable autopilot whenever you want to check your phone or look at the touch screen or map?

Yep. I use FSD to do exactly that. Change something on the screen etc. So now it’s basically useless.
The ability to select between 2 size chargers used to be between 3 sizes.

Covering up the camera right now, works for autopilot. Without covering the camera, good freaking luck its so picky.
MY23 had mine covered since days after I bought it. Hoping to keep it covered. Previously uncovering it gave no benefits. Installing update now.

UltraSonic Sensors. Cars equipped with USS before Tesla removed the sensors and went to Vision only.
