Janne is a very common name here in Denmark (mostly as a female name) and across Scandinavia, so forgive me for assuming he was Norwegian. //gen. My own name Janni is also common here but I know a Finnish guy with the name Janni. That being said I think the dry humor and bluntness is a wonderful common trait our cultures share.

When you were throwing the hook, I remembered watching Deadliest Catch all those years ago. But Norway is always much more relaxed and down to earth compared to Alaska where people go fishing in the middle of winter in a sea where blizzards and swells rage 24/7.

I'll admit at being envious of getting to eat king crab that fresh. When I've had it it's obviously been processed and shipped and it was good, but that had to be next level. You'd have earned points if you'd done a total dunk. I mean seriously, do the polar bear thing and jump in.
I really enjoyed watching this video; it felt like you had taken us through the procedure of cooking a crab, from catching it to making two different culinary creations and on the sea. Plus,I liked the fact that you corrected the salty sauce by adding lemon juice; it was a thrill! Keep up these kinds of videos ! 🦀

That was one of the most spectacular shows! I love the first part - information on the crab, Hurtgruten (sp?) catching it and so forth before the actual cooking. Its all encompassing from information on the catch & its surroundings, to the table. Fantastic! I would love to see more of these. I never commented on the alligator with Guga, that was great also! I hope you make more collaboration and travel videos. Continue to educate us, its fascinating.

If you ever have a sauce or stock thats too salty, cut a russet potsto in quarters and boil it in the sauce. The potsto will absorb the excess sauce. Just make sure you're replacing the lost water to keep the right flavor/texture
You can soak excessive saltiness with a lump of dough (wheat dough). While the sauce or anything is boiling in it just add a lump of dough and boil with it. This will help suck excessive salt . Love from india .
