This will replace my Topping A30 D30 pro stack. Thank you for your review and input, it's been a good guide in my decision making, since I cant try first for myself. Will be used on my Audeze LCD-XC and Sundaras.
The rme adi 2 changing dac chips makes it confusing to know what you are getting due to product pages not being updated. Its not a big deal, but worth a mention
I was ready to get one till I saw it uses the same chip as the Soncoz. (I think. ;) I got the Soncoz because I needed a DAC for now, and it is fine, but once the AKM factory is back online I might spring for a new version of the RME.
@@vvidover i ended up getting the adi 2 recently with the new chip, this thing is amazing. drives my t60 argons great too
@@powahause5938 How does it sound in comparison to something with the same chip? I’m glad you like it, I really like how the RME has a lot of DSP and other features you would get with a pro audio interface.

I actually got the Blue Ella, and while I did enjoy it, I ultimately returned it. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't as comfortable as the Avantone and I also found that I preferred the Avantone's sound. The Blue Ella also became annoying to charge daily, which I something I never got used to doing for a wired headphone. The price difference between the Avantone and Blue Ella should likely be smaller.
Wow is Rebel audio really that petty? Aren't they a small company? This is not a good look for them. The Geshelli Erish 2 released. Wish someone would sent you that unit to review. I kinda don't want to take the plunge to try it. Think I'm getting the A30 pro as an upgrade.
I bought the Topping stack purely on your recommendation and couldn't be happier. You could probably sell me the Sydney Harbour Bridge now. Wield such power responsibly.

i don't know why All Dacs and Amps don't have Optical In and Out and RCA In and Out and this should be standard bare minimum for every dac and amp i just don't get why you need to pay thousands of $ to have that but even then most dacs and amps don't have all that that's why i like Sound BlasterX G6 so much it has 3.5mm in and out and Mini TOS Optical in and out in one port same for Fiio K5 Pro it gives you more connections for $150 then many dac-amps that cost 10 or even 20 times more Money if theres an Industry that's as BIG a SCAM as PC Parts it's this one if you make a simple math you will see that those $2000-3000 dacs and amps cost those big companies to make aroud $100-200 Max and this is including everything even shipping to stores plus the Bigger the Company the Cheaper it is for them to make it
How about reviewing the LUXURY & PRECISION W1/W2 dongles? from the reviews it seems they are the best sounding dongles out there, apparentely they reach the medium-high range DAPs in terms of sound quality, i am very curious to hear what you think
LP stuff is super expensive, and I'm suspect of their purported superiority. Spending $300 for a dongle dac just seems silly these days. I mean, for that type of cash, you could get a very good DAP that will double as a portable dac.
