I put 6500 games on a 64 gb sd card, it wouldn't register it so I went with like 700 or so from only one system, waiting to see the results. also if you get a sdxc card format it to fat 32 or it won't recognize it. I was using retroarch on my fire tv, but Im happy I got the super retrocade today.
Yeah I think the most games I've put on a card at once was about 2000 and it goes black for about a minute or so before It starts but still works even with a lot , but I'd suggest like you said just doing one system at a time it works pretty damn well then 😀🕹️👍
For some reason I get an extra black thumbnail screen beside my game file thumbnail screen (which indeed successfully has the art work attached to game file). But why do I get the extra black screen png file screen beside it? I've tried everything. Reformatted SD card to FAT32. The png files are correct with adding game between file name and file type. Hmmmm. Any suggestions? I've used multiple sd cards.
That's pretty weird , I never had that happen when I used the system unfortunately I made this vid a couple years ago so I moved onto other emulation alternatives so I can't give you much advice to solve this as I don't have the system setup or in use anymore .
Hi 👋 I’ve tried to put some MAME roms but won’t load them. I see the list (black because I don’t put the png) but don’t work. It’s an SD 16gb fat32. Where I wrong (the roms work on MAME pc)? Thx 🙏🏻
Unfortunately I no longer have that system so I can't help but there was a certain setlist on mame that worked perfectly on this system but I honestly can't remember the version , maybe a internet search will find it . The madlittlepixel Facebook page had a lot of people that made setlists for this system so check that out 😃
@@BastichB64K And you can't make another video explaining exactly how to transfer the games to sd. because I have the retrocade I have copied some games that I have there compressed in rar but the console does not recognize it.
I don't have that system anymore , I got a pi4 . I used the retrocade for about a year as an arcade emulator but I don't have the system so I can't make any more videos with it . Check out the Madlittlepixel facebook group they used to have premade packs for the retrocade all set up for you to use .
I don't understand how to get console games working on this. Even half the arcade titles that I've loaded on don't work. I've gotten Super Nintendo's Biometal to work but no NES, SNES, or Genesis titles.
I've tried a complete Genesis and SNES room sets and a massive arcade pack and 95% of the games work perfectly ? If you can tell me more info I may be able to help
@@BastichB64K Not much else to say. I understand that arcade ROMs stay zipped, but what's the procedure for console ROMs? I've tried leaving them zipped, creating folders, and just dragging the files into the folder all to little success.
That should not happen ! I usually put about 800 or so at a time , I've put a few thousand on before but the screen will go black for about a minute before it shows what's on the card . My guess is your roms are corrupt , when I get home I'll check my console ROMs packs to see if I unzipped them to get them to work , don't remember . Like I said in the video I use it for arcade ROMs mostly but if I wanna play a bunch of console games then I use it . I'll message you again once I check that

Hi there , how did you power it up , I'm on 240 Volt's in the UK , but I don't want to mess it up . What would you recommend me to power it up with . Any old phone charger ???

Thanks!!! for the info. I founded a link for a multiple console rom sets including MAME here on youtube and youre right, add all full rom sets its not good idea. I just add MAME and now I love this console plus change the controller buttons B A Y X to colored super famicom ones and looks pretty cool.

NES, Genesis, and SNES should all work fine. I believe GBA support was added to version 1.1 as well as a few other additional systems. This is why I bought this version and why it is important.
For people that do not have the skills to make or put together their own Pie the average retropie loaded with games if you buy it online is $150-$200 with all the bells and whistles , if you have the skills it'll cost much less . I said this because the Retrocade is good to go for $60 dollars with no skills needed and adding roms is as simple as it gets .
Not always a matter of skills at all some people dont have a computer or any access to one. I loaded everything on my retrocade by phone. 7000 arcade, neo geo, snes, nes, gb, gbc, gba, genesis and TG16 games on a 16gb sd.. all from an android phone, no need to travel and borrow a family members laptop or any of that crap

The artwork on the other hand is that you can search for the screenshots of the title screens and use those instead...
