A few things to note about Kia vs Hyundai. Kia has a very cohesive design across different models. Hyundai tends to not. Kia is adamant on keeping the traditional gear selector on all ICE models. Hybrids and EVs move to a rotary selector. Hyundai is a bit of everything. Kia design is seriously good. There's a reason why the new HRV and Corolla Cross exist with the features and design they do. It's the Seltos.
How do the two brands compare in ride quality, comfort and quietness? I am trying to decide between the 2023 Santa Fe 2.5T and the 2023 Sorento X-line 2.5T.
I got the 2021 sx xline trim as well and we love it. Me and my partner love the look and it’s also sporty enough. We love the pano roof and all 3 rows are usable. The trunk space is the only real problem because with all seats up it’s small but since it’s 5 of us we can always put one seat down and you have enough room for what you need.
I’ve got one of these it’s a 2022 SX Prestige in passion red with black interior my first ever brand new car I love it and you can order rear seat entertainment screens for the Sorento it’s $1500
@@KirkKreifels I am affraid honda will kill Odyssey - You have Pacifica, but as hybrid no 8 seats or even childseat tilt is missing... what a waste... I still have hopes that toyota will bring 8 passanger version of sienna as plug in but here in Europe there are dark clouds above that kind of powertrain.
Nor myself. but I never found myself needing them in the Sorento. The physical Auto AC button has three settings, you also have physical switches for the temp.
A disclaimer should always accompany a KIA product about their abhorrent customer service, and their corporate philosophy to sleaze out of any and all warranty claims. after 2.5 years of owning a Telluride, I went back to Lexus and begged them for a new SUV. With a 2021 RX and 2022 GX in the garage my blood pressure has gone down 20 points.
5:56 funny how different things suits to different people.... i prefer hyundais interior and real buttons... no gloss black BS almost anywhere, easy to navigate and press without looking at it... but i do prefer sorento exterior design, especially in this x-line.
do yourself a favor don't do it Toyota rav4 has it all and them some I test drove 5 mid size suvs the honda crv was the worst out of them all in every way very uncomfortable seats zero to 60 not good at all the crv was a hudge letdown the others weren't bad at all but the Toyota just out performed them all it's worth the wait if buying new don't settle
But I am so skeptic because of reliability. It’s funny that Toyota sienna drive is terrible because of the road noise and outdated infotainment, but people are waiting 9 months to get one.

I agree! The only misstep recently for Kia was the refresh of the Telluride. Palisade now looks better of the two for 2023. Cheers!

Hybrid Sorento is the way to go. Getting 38 mpg with all terrains. Great space for the kids as well.
