Hi, from Japan!! I really understand what you guys are saying in the video. The car had been sold more if it would have had different badge on it. Or if the price goes down, people might buy it more. I don’t want to discriminate, though.KIA is doing very good!!
Went from a 21 Sorento to a 24 Telly and both fit in the same garage space. Albeit a lil tighter but can still open doors. Only have to open the garage to open the tailgate where I didn't with the Sorento
I took my Kia Sorento through the Black Hills on Needles Highway in sport mode. That is where you see the biggest difference between the Sorento and Telluride. The Telluride is a great truck, but the Sorento feels sportier when you drive it. They may be close to the same size, but they feel very different.
Great and grand parent here and the manufactures are getting away from the “emergency” row models which fit in my wheelhouse. I don’t want the cavernous versions of SUV’s for daily driver. Just need that third rom a few times a year. Though it may only be a niche market, there is a market for this type of SUV. Thanks guys, great work!
The turbo-lag (oxymoron, I know) is a a bit of a pain. I always hated cbt transmissions, but they are more ideal for driving around town. The 8 speed turbo wants to drive fast and go thru all the gears, but that's not how we drive around town. Its alot of stop and go traffic, and that causes some lurchiness on the transmission, but not too much of a problem.
We've driven the CX90 and have a review on this channel of the base model (PHEV). We've since driven the middle trim (Turbo) and discussed it at length on our Podcast. Thanks for your interest!

The difference between the Sorento and the Telluride is that the Sorento would fit in the garage and the Telluride does not LOL
Agreed and Sorento comes with HEV and PHEV.
Exactly!! The difference matters to me.

@4:00, 27 mpg hwy, 23 combined. Sounds like the same mpg as in my 3.5L NA toyota engine
How's the ride? Smooth comfy? What about road noise inside?

In Europe, the Sorento is mostly sold with a 2.2L Diesel engine...
I have been waiting to watch your review of the Mazda cx90. Are you guys having any issues with Mazda??

I was thinking more Acura md.. whatever looks like a less expensive option to it.
The wolf grey would look better if it had a red interior…or even blue 😊 but the brown on brown is just okay.
This is a great family vehicle but what about reliability compared to the Honda Pilot? And that touchscreen for HVAC is horrible.
Cars and coffee of the future:
Lane keep and minesweep…?
You mean they offer a color that isn't silver, gray, or white? I'll take it. Brown is fine. :)
